If I’m not mistaken, this is our third stay at Mövenpick Surabaya City. As always, there are a few things to expect—such as the sound of passing trains due to the hotel’s location near the railway. But overall, everything has usually been great: the hotel is relatively new, the rooms are spacious, the location is convenient, and that’s why my family keeps coming back. But this time we were surprised to find messy towels and a piece of tissue in the toilet bowl upon entering the bathroom, which made us question whether the room had been cleaned properly. We like the hotel, but we truly hope the housekeeping quality becomes more consistent.

The service is inconsistent. I stayed for 5 nights. Different standard service every day, especially during breakfast. The more crowded the restaurant, the less the the service.
