Unhappy because we hope non smoking room but when we arrived at Novotel just available smoking room

Hotel is not located at the most convenient place, hence it is cheaper than other hotels in city centre. I stayed for 2 nights. My room was clean and looked new, but my bigger problem was with the soft products. - you would normally expect to see new, unopened bottles of shower gel and shampoo when you check in to your room, but this was not the case for us. Although the shampoo was new and sealed, the shower gel was opened and half emptied already when we checked into the room. - no hand towels were provided, only the bath towels and the floor towel when we checked in - tea bags were not replenished - dirty towels were taken away, but the forgot to replace with clean towels. When we called front desk requesting for the towels, they did bring us bath and hand towels. Even though the staff were friendly, those details did let us down.

satisfied with the room, the pool, the amenities. a simple gesture such as welcoming me into the room with my name written on the TV was lovely and memorable. though this is a new unit of novotel, everything was almost perfect for me except for the time i can’t order in-room-dining with a debit (only cash and credit card). but overall, i think i would stay in this hotel again when i get dressed for my wedding ❤️

I like the room design. Too bad the shower water was small. The towels was not white and clean .. it was rather black like dirty towels. The TV was not clear at all, picture was blur and noisy. I like the breakfast menu varieties and taste. I like the hotel interior.

Need to improved the quality of Air Conditioning ( need regularly clean the FCU ), experience last stayed, the air flow didn't flow well to low air flow and noise, can't sleep well, after fixed the next day look ok, but better regular maintenance check. Room temperature was ok Service good
