It was my first time staying at Mercure Surabaya Grand Mirama, and luckily it was a very pleasing stay. They had a major renovation at lobby area, so the check-in counter was moved to the left side of the original spot. The check in process was smooth, and my room was upgraded to privilege room on the 2nd floor. not their best spot, but hell.. yea.. you can not complain; although as a platinum member I hope they will put me in a better room, nothing wrong with upgrading 2 more levels if the room was available, right? welcome drink for members didn't include alcoholic beverages. don't put your hope too high for this too. just a standard selection of juices, coffee, and tea. Breakfast was ok, with various selection of local and international food. gym was OK, located in the other area of the building, which due to the renovation project, will make you have to find the way to the gym overall, it was pleasant moment staying there

This hotel is located at city centre, easy access. Some restaurants nearby at walking distance. The room is clean n spacious. Breakfast is also taste good with a lot of variants. The staffs are also helpful. There are few activities that kids can enjoy.
