My recent stay was marked by frustrating check-in and check-out experiences, and a disappointing room condition. At 1:30 PM, check-in was understaffed with only one person on duty. I had not used pre-checking in, but if I had there no way to collect my key. I was told my room wasn't ready until I questioned it (nearly 2 PM), at which point it suddenly became available. Check-out at 6:30 AM was equally slow due to only one person at the desk and a lengthy mini-bar dispute with another guest, causing delays while my car waited. I could not use the express key drop-off option as I had to wait to retrieve my deposit. As an Accor member, these repeated disappointing check-in/out experiences are concerning. A very clean and modern Ibis Styles hotel, that is generally well priced and has facilities such as a pool and gym that are not normally in this hotel brand. This is due to the fact that both Ibis Styles and Novotel share the same building. Each have their own restaurant for breakfast. The Novotel has a more premium and diverse range of breakfast choices, but both are good. Beds are very comfortable.

When I booked the hotel, I had to contact the concierge to arrange a transport for myself. Usually, they would contact me first. Also, takes a long time for hot water to come out of the shower.

I stayed 13 nights this trip. The Ibis Styles on Soi 4 is the only hotel I use in Bankock.
