Good value for your money. What you can expect considering the price. The room is clean. Well adapted and enough space around the bed. Space fin front of the toilet can be too limited for some wheelchair users. Staff is friendly and helpful. On the morning of October 24th there was a fire alarm in the hotel. Fortunately, this later turned out to be a false alarm. I don't know what the protocol is, but the staff did nothing to check whether everyone had left their room. We decided to take the lift and when we got downstairs it was still unclear what caused the alarm and that it was a false alarm. There is a fire extinguisher in the disabled room. Does this mean that wheelchair users have to stay in their room, because they are not allowed to take the lift? Perhaps there could be better communication about what to do in these circumstances.

Very good Ibis walking distance of historic Dijon

This is a very good Ibis, close to the centre of Dijon and with excellent transport links. It has a nice, secure and spacious underground car park with a lift up to reception and a tram station (Auditorium) about 30m away. Rooms are pleasant with good air conditioning and very comfortable beds. The bathroom is an OK size but it’s easy not to close the shower door correctly and hence get the bathroom floor wet. Towels are a little bit thin and a little bit small but that seems to be the Ibis standard. The shower was nice with good pressure and hot water. The breakfast is good quality, Ibis style fare, and the breakfast room is a pleasant place to be, just behind reception. The coffee lacked punch but was greatly improved with an extra shot of espresso. Dijon itself is an absolutely delightful place to visit. The Place de Republique is an easy ten minute walk or a short tram ride. Dogs are not allowed on trams. All in all, I can highly recommend this hotel. One thing that did stand out was that the staff don’t seem very happy but they are polite and efficient.

Unfortunately the toilet in our room wasn’t clean when we arrived and the sink water didn’t drain away well. The room had an unpleasant smell. Everything else was ok.
