Really lovely hotel, just a bit flakey on some things. We had booked parking, but for some reason they couldn’t find our booking so we had to wait for minutes at the gate. Breakfast also was slow and by the time it arrived the coffee was cold. It’s a very nice hotel, just need to be slightly more efficient.

Nice spacious room, centrally located amd still quiet and still among the best breakfast in the business. Just spoilt by a very stingy complimentary drink which for mama shelter Dijon is a warm soda in the room. Even the ibis offers wine or beer and other mama shelters even offered a cocktail. Bizarre decision by management which spoils the otherwise great experience. How tight does the business have to be to not offer glass of wine or beer?

The hotel is well located and very nicely decorated. However, we arrived on a Saturday night with two kids and the hotel was very noisy because of the restaurant. It was impossible to have dinner as the music was very loud and the kids couldn’t get it. We stayed around 40 minutes at the restaurant and went back to the room - not being satisfied by the dinner. In the room there was no kettle to have a tea and I had to queue at the bar to grab a tea and bring it in the room. Additionally, no slippers were available in the room and the space was very limited.

Just wanted to highlight that i have asked per mail to benefit the early check-in and i have booked for a parking place and i received confirmation per mail for the parking place; and for the room, it's depend on availability. When i came, the desk told that they are not aware about these two requests. I'm wondering the reason why, since they acknowledged it per mail before I'm coming. Communication and traceability to be optimized in this hotel.
