We arrived early for our 3 day stay. I did not expect the room to be ready, but the receptionist indicated that check in would not occur until 3 pm. Thus, we were left adrift until then. My experience at other hotels is that they check you in and then notify you when the room is ready - by texting/phoning. This was not provided, but instead we were told to come back at 3 pm. When we did return to check in at 3 pm, they gave us a room that was not what I expect from a Mama XXL. The room was small with a low ceiling - you could not even walk around the bed without ducking. My husband and I were not able to be in the same place given the tightness of the room. The room on the 5th floor should not be labelled as an XXL given the constraints in the room size and height of the ceiling where one could not stand.

Our Mama XXL rooms can vary in layout depending on their location in the hotel, particularly those under the roof, where some have lower ceilings. The location and rooms are great. There is parking, but be sure to reserve a spot in advance. If you have an electric vehicle, you can charge it. It's also free. Get your room with breakfast included. Because the best part is the breakfast.

we had a family room (ie. 2 separate rooms with a bathroom each, and common entrance), spacious enough for 4 adults. Very quiet hotel (there was music on the saturday evening, we heard absolutely nothing).' Good beds (not too hard, not too soft)
