Centrally located hotel with easy access to parking garage at discounted rate. Restaurants and bars very close by. Room was comfortable, breakfast buffet was good and staff were helpful and polite.

On the website all the pictures show wooden floors. On the email I received when booking it says: "wood floor" but the room had carpet. When I mentioned it to the receptionist he said you have to write what you want wooden floors. It's strange that you have to when it says in the confirmation, you don't write you want beds and bathroom either. Furthermore, there was a lot of dust in the room. There was a cm of dust on the door frame above the bathroom door.

My wife and I were visiting Burgundy for art and wine (and cheese..and beer!) and this hotel provided an excellent base for us. It is itself a lovely looking hotel (the exterior is in the art nouveau style) but we enjoyed everything about the hotel. The location is superb, close to the station but on the old town side so also close to all the sights and restaurants. We were able to conveniently day trip to Besancon, Dole and Chalon-sur-Saone using the trains and also the minibus pick up for a group wine tasting was very close by. The room was clean, spacious (for the type) and quiet. Our only minor issue was the window restrainer as we woudl have preferred to have it open further but I suspect that is goverened by some legislation. The breakfast was brilliant. You expect lovely bread and cheese in France and you certainly got that but there was plenty of choice also of cold meat, pastries, cereals and some local delicacies (nonnettes). Most importantly for any fussy Brits, they had English Breakfast tea ....and a decent blend at that. We always take some emergency stocks with us. I was delighted to say they were not need. The staff were also brilliant - helpful, professional and friendly and happy to engage with us in English. We are always self conscious about our ability to speak French but staff were great in making us feel welcome. I use Accor hotels a lot for work (so am a member) across all their brands but am happy to say that the Ibis Styles, Dijon Central is the best hotel in that brand that I have used.
