Stayed for an overnight stop on way to South of France from UK. The hotel is in a great location to get to and go into Dijon Centre. The hotel is immaculately clean throughout, the bedrooms are perfect, the restaurant and food is also excellent at a good price. Very pleasant outside area with swimming pool to use. We enjoyed the well-fitted and large bedroom plus a good ensuite bathroom. The outdoor swimming pool was very welcome in the heatwave and was set in a large verdant courtyard garden. Breakfast was very good.

We’re indeed experiencing exceptionally hot weather this year, and unfortunately, our air conditioning system is less effective in coping with these extreme temperatures than it was during previous summers, which were not as hot. Rest assured that we are doing our utmost to resolve this issue permanently. In the meantime, we have also invested in fans to provide our guests with an additional solution during heat waves. We had a good stay at the Mercure. Parking available in the hotel. Good to make use of the swimming pool (we stayed during the heat wave). Breakfast is also fine and the tramway handy to get to the city center. Shame that the airco in our room didn't work to its full potential - it was still very hot in the room.

We had a nightmare before reaching the hotel due to car issues coming across from the UK whilst travelling down to Dijon. We did not arrive until very late 2.40am, the manager was so accommodating, reserved us a parking space with charging due to our EV complications. Thank you for being so kind and helpful.

We needed to rest up and relax. This was good for us, the pool was lovely but difficult to get a chair beside the pool due to the amount of people sunbathing but not swimming

Restaurant staff unfriendly, air conditioning not satisfactory, pool dirty and disgusting .

Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your stay with us. We are sincerely sorry to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations. We regret that you found the service in our restaurant to be unfriendly. Please accept our sincere apologies, as providing a warm and attentive welcome is one of our priorities. Your comments have been shared with our restaurant team so that we can reinforce the level of service expected by our guests. Regarding the air conditioning, we would like to clarify that the system was functioning correctly during your stay. However, France has experienced an exceptional heatwave since June, with unusually high temperatures over an extended period. These extreme weather conditions can significantly reduce the cooling performance of air conditioning systems, particularly during the hottest parts of the day. We fully understand that this may have affected your comfort, and we are sorry for the inconvenience. Concerning the swimming pool, we are sorry that it did not meet your expectations. Please be assured that the water quality is checked and treated daily and that the pool is cleaned every day in accordance with our hygiene procedures. As our pool is located outdoors, it is nevertheless possible for a few leaves or small branches from the surrounding garden to fall into the water between cleaning operations, especially during windy or hot weather. Thank you once again for your comments. They are invaluable in helping us continue to improve our services, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and provide you with a much more enjoyable experience. Overall good stay with friendly staff, but air in rooms is way too dry, especially at night this causes issues.
