Sleepless Evening Due to Unattended Dog and Poor Response from Staff

I recently stayed at Mercure Dijon, and unfortunately, it was far from a restful experience. From 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM, a dog in a nearby room barked incessantly, disrupting the entire floor. We visited the reception twice to report the issue, but no effective action was taken. It became clear that the hotel allows guests to leave their dogs unattended in rooms, a policy that caused significant disturbance to everyone nearby. If you're considering this hotel for a quick stopover, I would strongly advise against it—it might result in a frustrating and sleepless night. I hope management takes this issue seriously and reviews their pet policy to ensure a more peaceful stay for future guests.

Wonderful staff . My wife has mobility issues and we were allowed to park in disability place in car park with UK disabled badge . Great advice on the restaurant booking us a table . Multi lingual which although I speak a little French was a great advantage. Great location for city by tram . The room was very spacious , clean and comfortable with a great view . We are returning !
