Room has little kitchen smell, bathroom flush toilet had bed smell, water easy spread from shower wall, bed is clasped. Anyway reception service was friendly and helpful.

We booked for a 4 night stay and left after one. The room was obviously, in a previous life, a smoking room because there was still that left over smell. The shower stayed hot for about 3 seconds on and off so washing yourself was an experience. The bathroom itself was ok, but smelt strongly of urine/drains. The bed was oddly low to the ground and the mattress was so thin that two normal sized adults could feel the frame underneath. When we left early, no one cared either.

The studio apartments were just as we hoped. We stayed in one, with our friends in another, doors opposite. We were all pleased by the experience. It was a convenient distance to walk and see the sights. There were restaurants in the area although prices reflected the centre of town. We were surprised (for tea drinkers) that there were no kettles available to borrow or teapots. Otherwise the coffee percolator and other equipment was good. The microwave was too high up to be used by a short woman, and the light on the dials was not adequate (shaded wall light opposite).
