We arrived to a wonderful warm welcome from lovely Mustafa on the Reception desk, who continued to be fantastic throughout our 2 week stay. We absolutely loved our connecting rooms in block 21, floor 2. Beautiful views of the garden and pool. Our cleaner was brilliant for our entire stay. We were very impressed with the daily refills of drinks and snacks. We found the food delicious and fresh, in both buffet restaurants (Turquoise and Taverna), and all A la carte restaurants (we visited 8 out of 10 restaurants). Everywhere decorated so beautifully and elegant. We enjoyed a special evening at the Greek restaurant. The manager and Karim were absolutely lovely, and they made our son celebrating his birthday feel very special. We all loved the dancing and plate smashing. The live band and singer were fantastic, but we would've preferred if not so loud as we couldn't hold a conversation. The only negative we have is that smokers are allowed here. We have seen several posts on the Rixos Seagate Facebook site complaining of the same issue. As a family of non smokers it is unpleasant to be sat next to a chain smoker. We asked the waiting staff to direct the fan so that the smoke was away from us and we are grateful they actioned this. But it would be much better if smoking in public areas of Rixos hotels (especially bars and restaurants) was banned like in the UK. The Aqua Park was superb and we had so much fun. The lifeguards there and on the jetty (where we enjoyed snorkeling) were very polite and keeping everyone safe. All lifeguards, buggy drivers, waiters, all staff were so approachable and kind. We used both Spas, and also visited the Adults Only hotel nearby. This was a lovely bonus. We were so impressed with the frequency of the buggies, which were invaluable for my dad with mobility issues. The entertainment on an evening was first class. Dance shows by the beach and in the big arena. Amazing talent. Followed by DJ or fantastic live band. The drinks in all bars were always lovely. Also we loved the X-Lounge by the beach and terrace outside reception, both so relaxing (day and night) and gorgeous views. We absolutely fell in love with this beautiful hotel, the stunning grounds (gardens, pools, jetty). The gardeners did an incredible job, we've never stayed anywhere as beautiful in all the places we have visited in the world. And we loved all the lights at night. Such a magical paradise. The staff throughout the whole complex were so friendly and kind, nothing seemed too much trouble. We cannot thank everyone individually, but a special mention goes to Nour (guest relations), Binay and Abdulmohsen (Seafood and Asian restaurants), the manager downstairs in Turquoise, Mohamed in the gift shop. We established lovely relationships with all these people. To conclude, our family of 5 (ages ranging from 10 to 76) had an incredible holiday and we will love to return.

Overall I had good experience at Rixos premium seagate Egypt. Turquoise buffet restaurant was perfect, I must thank to Ezzat for looking after us so well, we will definitely miss him and his service!!! The other person I have to mention about is Ahmed at the pool, his service was also done perfectly 👌. Good layout of the resort, you can't get lost. Nice room, housekeeping staff very polite and our room was always done very well. Now the negatives points: ●Booking ala carte restaurants is nearly impossible, we had stayed for 7 nights but were unable to book the BBQ, it was always fully booked. The booking system definitely needs to be changed. ● Reception staff. There was one person at the reception who served us twice and unfortunately it wasn't a pleasant service. Not a nice person at all, its a shame that I didn’t look at his badge name! People with such bad attitude should not be working with your guests.
