Best hotel in Egypt we stayed in. - Amazing location - on Naama bay but right on the hill in the beginning of the bay, so you see an open sea and a bay with the night lights, very beautiful. Not super windy - Beach - best part, you can come to the water from the beach, sandy, big, with great infrastructure, we even came with a stroller there every day. So you can swim and snorkle right from the beach, without a bridge even, and marine life is just outstanding. We swam with octopuses, murenas like 1,5 meters, 1 time with a huuuge turtle, baracudas and of course a lot of small fishes. Coral reef is beautiful and not boring, there is a "wall" and many smaller islands of corals so you can swim above them. - Rooms - we stayed in new part of a building, with upgraded rooms, it was great, very clean, everything is new (like few years old kind of), beautiful interior in arabic style. We stayed with a 4 months old baby so we asked right away for a room on the ground floor, withoud hesitation hey gave it to us so it was super close to the restaurant and beach. - Food - kudos to chef, everything was great, all meals we tried were good, a lot of meat, just amazing grill stuff to the dinner. - Staff - very polite, speak multiple languages, very kind - Infrastructure - mobility part is not the best as there is a part where you can't go with a stroller so you have to carry a stroller, but it's from 4th to 5th floor only. - Activities - big tennis for free, gym I highly reccomend this hotel and we would love to come again. It was best vacation ever

Outstanding experience. We came back to the resort 18 years after our first visit, nothing had changed: the beauty and location makes it unique. It's a very romantic place, just next to Naama Bay which is accessible from the hotel by just a 5-10 min walk which allows you to the vary between quiet and busier atmosphere. There is a dive center at the hotel, we can dive from the hotel private beach which is very convenient when you are a couple with only one of the two diving. The service at the restaurant was a bit slow during peak hours, this did not bother us as at all as we can understand this (busy hours during busy easter period), the staff compensated this by being very friendly. Finally, the hotel organized some surprise "cocktails parties" and the hotel manager paid special attention to talk to customers, getting feedback, etc. I strongly recommend it.

This was our 13th visit to the Movenpick and again it did not disappoint, the hotel has been refurbished and we were lucky to be allocated one of the rooms. The rooms are kept spotless by the cleaners who work really hard. The staff at the hotel are one of the reasons we keep going back as we now class them as friends, a big thank you to Mamoud Basha who makes our stays memorable,also Hamada Shawky and Wahid on the Horizon Bar who works tirelessly. All the staff at the hotel go out of their way to be friendly and makemsure you are happy. We were lucky to be introduced to the General Manager and Director of rooms Mr Tamer El Habrouk who both took time to thank us for coming back year after year. We are now booking our 14th visit for next April.

Stunning resort with beautiful views and impressive snorkeling straight off pier / beaches. Truly amazing staff in the Lobby bar, big shout to Dina and Ahmed who literally work their socks off and can't do enough for you. Unfortunately, it's all downhill thereafter which really takes the gloss off your holiday and we ended up just wanting to go home.... 1) Food: 2 of 3 dishes at the specialty Indian restaurant were inedible and tasted like raw spice had just been poured on top. Food in main buffet restaurant was super bland....at one of the live stations I asked for salt / pepper to be added and was told I should do this after the food is cooked using condiments on the table. Eventually, spoke to the senior chefs and was told the food was plain because of the need to cater to the masses and they could prepare meals to suit our taste....made no difference and when I informed them they simply laughed it off....worst of all saw cross contamination of chicken at one station and many of those waiting in the queue saw the same and walked away.... Only went to breakfast once and decided not to go again. To be fair the salads and bread were pretty good and the only redeeming feature. At the pool bar some items were excluded and chargeable which just seemed needless and un-necessary. Also, limited to one item so fail to see how this is all-inclusive. 2) Drinks: under the all-inclusive local beers / wines only. The local wine was quaffable as was the beer. However, beer is served in 200ml glasses which means you needs ~3 servings to get to a pint which became tedious over our stay. Also, at the pool bar, wine is only served when you order lunch. 3) Pool/beach: 4 separate beach areas with bars which was nice. Only issue was the lack of loungers which led to a daily grind to find somewhere to chill. The attendants do their best thus this appears to be a process issue for management to address. 4) Rooms were average. 5) Front desk: forget about it, not worth the blood pressure spike. 6) Location: easy walk into Namaa bay central but not a lot going on apart from souvenirs. Very few restaurants and ended up eating @ The Hard Rock Cafe. All in all, the least appealing Movenpick I have ever stayed at and should have paid slightly more to stay at the Rixos Premium.

Right of the bat, we were well received by your hotel personnel. Their warm treatment made us very welcome. Not only the front desk staff, almost all inc. the porter, the taxi n transport manager, the event officer, the f&b personnel even the security guard at the exit to naama bay were genuinely very polite and greeted us with smiles. The private beaches, yes, there were 4 private beaches if i got it right are stunning. View from the top of these beaches were panoramic, except were beach 4 are located, it seems a bit neglected. Love the night environ where life musics were played at the cafe while having shishas. The room would have been very execptional, specially with the nice full view of the ocean, nice decor and lightings if not for the loud squeek of the wardrobe door and the lack of any floor rugs covering the cold floor tiles. But those are minor preferences that doesnt defer the fact that Movenpick Sharm El Sheikh is still a good choice for a stay while you are there.
