It is not 5* Hotel at all. We booked early check in and arrived at 10:00, nothing was prepared. We have been waiting for 40 minutes at the reception. And…. when we go to the room cleaning was in the process. The bed linen was dirty, so we asked to change it. We were 3 persons and room was prepared for 2! Every time you ask for something stuff smiling and doing something wrong. You ask for towels they give you bathrobe. Cleaner ask me every day, do you need cleaning?!? All room stuff is old and shabby. Food - every day the same, nothing to comment more. Every day is a queues in the canteen, for clean plates, omelette, pasta… Only one advantage of this place is beach and sea.

Room service get inside the room while we are sleeping eventhough we are putting dont disturb bag The food buffet wasn’t very good ,only one kind of chicken and one kind of beef which it didn’t meet our expectations as the hotel is quite expensive I came as they told that the hotel have heaters for the piscine which was totally cold so I couldn’t stay for some time swimming and have some fun We went for a night yacht travel and when we came again we told the receptionist that we would like our dinner as we didn’t catch up the buffet and the food was pieces of cheese whick also didn’t met with our expectations with a high reputation of the hotel and is quite expensive and aslo as i went too many expensive hotels and didn’t see a greedy treatment as i had so i would not like to try this experience again with my all rescpect Last but not least we expected to have anything special for who recently married couples and it was very poor cake that came after two days without any decoration

As an Egyptian-American who has been to Sharm El-Sheikh countless number of times, I feel comfortable writing this review with a proper lens for Americans/Europeans considering a visit to this hotel. While this hotel maybe rated as 5-star for a country like this, it's more of a solid 4-star hotel that could be found "in the West". Really if you want a true 5-star experience in Sharm, you have to pony up for the Four Seasons. We booked 5 rooms for a stay from December 28-31st. The size and grounds of the property itself is beautiful and expansive. It feels like a city unto itself in some ways with a very convenient walkway to Naama Bay. The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were ABSOLUTELY incredible, with a delicate balance of food that can cater to Westerners, but still had local Egyptian favorites that may beat my mom's home cooking (sorry Enna). I didn't eat at the special Indian restaurant, but the food poolside is a solid. The rooms were fine and functional and the housekeeping staff did a great job keeping everything clean with daily turndown service. The pool was 'heated' but not like a 5-star resort in Mexico or the Caribbean (I consider heated to be basically be bath water to withstand wind and/or temps around 70-degrees). Due to the property being on a hill, if you have small children or parents who have a difficulty walking, this may not be the place for you as getting from the lobby to the first set of elevators requires a ton of stairs. Biggest complaints are: 1) the regimented process of using 2-pool towel cards per room and if you didn't return them, they would charge you for it. Any "luxury hotel" would have eliminated the towel-card; and 2) There isn't a poolside attendant to set up your chair or take orders for food. Instead you have to wait in a relatively long-line to order anything-including those who were drinking alcohol. Not quite the 'beach type' experience you would have at any other 4.5/5 star resort in another country. The main reason why I'm writing this review, however, is to give shout outs to the people who went above and beyond every time we had a request--1) Mazen at the front desk was extremely patient and accommodating in trying to sync up putting 5-rooms on the same floor with 4 of them connecting. 2) Ehab from the breakfast cafe is amazing! He knew the table that we liked, the coffee 9 out of the 11 us ordered every day and really treated us like family. 3) Walid at the Poolside cafe kept his cool when the lines got long and accommodated various requests from children to make the stay just right. 4) Emad seemed to be running both maintenance and housekeeping and did it flawlessly. Always checking in, offering to help with any configuration in the room and asking if we need anything. Like anything in a (semi) 3rd world country, it's the warmth of the people trying to help you is what makes the stay-thank you to 4 guys mentioned above.

Pros:Nice resort , nice swimming pool and beach with chance to see colorful fishes near coast, CONS: the elevators don’t cover the upper floor , no golf cars , we didn’t get tour during check in

I paid USD $185 to spend A. new years night in Movenpick sharm el sheikh. This is lot of money per Egyptian standards and cost of living yet left the hotel with total disappointment. Pros: - Good location, Center of NAAM Bay. -Great Egyptian hotel staffs. -Not A. big/mega resort. Easy to Navigate -Spacious room with sea view and balcony. -Great yoga and fitness classes. Day care for kids. Cons: -No hot water in shower, my biggest turn-off during winter month. Reported the problem, but nobody showed up to fix the issue. - This resort is on A. hill, not easily walkable to nearby naam bay. One need A. car or taxi to get round and this cost will add up. - only bed and breakfast is included in my room cost of $185. Reception was asking for additional $50 to change my reservation to all inclusive. Total rip off. Reception airport transfer one way price quote was $25. This is another scam, with ride share app one drive one can reach airport for $3 to 4 from this resort. - Access to three divided small beaches from this resort. Beaches are very small and crowded, it can not accommodate more than 25 to 30 people. So if anyone wants to lay down on beach for whole day and relax then be careful on booking this resort during busy season. - Not adults only resort, so kids were running around everywhere from buffet, ambiance and pool.
