Everything was good overall and the staff was excellent. Special greetings to Aladdin, the driver, and Ahmed Khaled, the bartender from the beach bar. However, we were disappointed that the supposedly heated pool was cold. We visited last year and it was much warmer then. This year it felt like the same temperature as the outdoor weather, so swimming was not very pleasant. We also did not like that drinks such as Heineken and Desperados are available for free at Seagate, while they are not available here. Every evening we had to go to Seagate just to have a beer. I also have issues with stomach acid, so I cannot drink champagne or cocktails — beer is basically the only alcoholic drink I can have, which makes this quite important for me. It would also be much nicer to sit in our own hotel and enjoy a beer instead of having to go to Seagate. I really hope these drinks will return to Rixos Sharm +18 as well (I remember that you used to have Heineken before). We were also disappointed that the pasta with bacon was removed from the Italian à la carte menu, because that was the main reason we used to go to the Italian restaurant. Other than that, everything else was great, would totally recommend this hotel to friends. And we are 100% book this hotel next year! With Love Kamile

Rooms were in need of updating. Service was brusque and sometimes rude, particularly in the main restaurant where the staff were dismissive and couldn’t even bother offering tea and coffee at breakfast. Restaurant food was poor, Asian and seafood, we expected more.
