We had an amazing holiday at Rixos Sharm 18+. We were only there for 5 nights but it felt like much longer. The hotel itself is beautiful and on a huge site, which made the hotel taxis/shuttles a great touch. Shout out to Aladdin who always put a smile on our faces.
The à la carte restaurants were exceptional, with the Indian being a particular standout. We utilised the snack bar (Salt restaurant) every lunch which was a nice change, with the bonus of a sea view. The main buffet itself was very nice, often with live musicians which created a lovely atmosphere. Lots of choice to accommodate all tastes. The ice cream bar was delicious too. Drinks were all good, we had a variety of cocktails and it was nice to see Coca Cola brand drinks and Heineken on offer rather than generic brands you find at lots of hotels.
Entertainment was wonderful too, the Queen show was our particular highlight, and being on our first night set a very high bar! We liked having the shows split between the 2 arenas too.
Having visited Sharm before we knew the snorkelling was excellent, and spent several hours swimming at the house reef. The fish are incredible and we even saw a turtle on our last day which made our whole trip.
This was by far and away the best hotel we’ve been to together so far and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

We enjoyed many aspects of our stay. The food was excellent, the evening shows and performances were fantastic, and the gardens are beautifully maintained.
Compared with our previous stay two years ago, however, we noticed that the bar service was less efficient, especially during peak hours. There often seemed to be too few waiters for the number of guests, while some guests placed very large orders at once, making it difficult for the staff to keep up. We also noticed less visible supervision and, on some occasions, bars being cleaned while entertainment was still ongoing.
We really appreciate the hard work of the staff, and overall we love the resort. We hope that better staffing and supervision during peak times can improve the bar experience, as we would very much like to return in the future.

My stay at Rixos Sharm El Sheikh was truly an exceptional experience from beginning to end. It is one of those rare places that can genuinely change the way you think about your future holiday plans — because once you have experienced the atmosphere, service, food, and hospitality here, you immediately start thinking about when you can return.
The resort itself is beautiful, spacious, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. Despite being a large complex, everything feels carefully organized and professionally managed. What impressed me most, however, was the staff. The entire team was attentive, welcoming, professional, and genuinely committed to making guests feel special. There is a wonderful sense of hospitality throughout the resort. If you want to spend a few days feeling completely pampered — almost like a queen or king — this is certainly the place to do it.
The food deserves special praise. Breakfasts offered an excellent variety, the main dining options were consistently impressive, and the à la carte restaurants made the experience even more memorable.
I would particularly recommend the Brazilian Restaurant. The meat dishes were absolutely outstanding — beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and served with great attention. And the grilled pineapple at the end was the perfect finishing touch: simple, delicious, and wonderfully complementary after the richness of the meat. It was one of my favourite dining experiences during the entire stay.
Another restaurant I would highly recommend is Salt Fish Restaurant. If you love seafood, this is a place not to miss. The freshness and variety of the fish and seafood, combined with the expertise of the chefs, created a wonderful dining experience. Every dish seemed to capture something of the sea itself — fresh, delicate, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. It was truly a feast for the senses.
The evenings were equally enjoyable. The professional shows, entertainment programme, and excellent DJs created a lively and sophisticated atmosphere. Whether you want to enjoy a beautiful dinner, watch a show, listen to music, or simply relax and enjoy the resort, there is always something to make the evening special.
What makes Rixos Sharm El Sheikh stand out is that all these elements come together: a beautiful and clean resort, excellent cuisine, professional entertainment, attentive service, and a team that knows how to make its guests feel genuinely cared for.
Some hotels are simply places where you spend your holiday. Others become part of the holiday memories you want to experience again.
Rixos Sharm El Sheikh is definitely the second kind.
It is the sort of place you leave saying, “I will come back.”
And I certainly will. ☺️

The hotel is gorgeous. Every member of staff was welcoming and would do anything to make your stay as magical as possible. The food was delicious and plentiful. The hotel was immaculate. Entertainment was varied and always something to do. There is a pool for whatever mood you are in…relaxed, lively, cave pool was like an ice bath 😊 The beach was gorgeous. The rooms are very spacious, modern and elegantly decorated. In short, this hotel exceeded all our expectations. Check in was smooth and staff were welcoming. Room was clean and spacious. Oasis pool was nice with plenty of sunbeds and pool staff very helpful, service at the pool bar has slipped since our last visit, waited sometimes over an hour for service off the bar staff on rollerblades. Food in the buffet restaurant was recycled on numerous occasions, chicken and beef dishes were the same each day but given a different name. Roast potatoes were kept in a covered steamer meaning they became soggy and not crispy. Cakes and waffles were amazing and ultimately we always found something nice to eat. Hotel grounds are amazing and all the staff work so hard to keep the place impeccable. Buggy staff friendly and very helpful. Al carte restaurants were excellent but it was difficult to get bookings unless you booked them just after midnight. Big shout out to Ali the recreation member of staff at the big pool, a thorough gentleman and has now become a dear friend over the last 3 years. Room cleaners did a good job but were a bit stingy on the toilet roll and coffee and milk sachets.
Music played by the violinist at breakfast and the lobby bar was a tad depressing.
Although this is not the hotels fault, some of the Russian guests were totally vile and rude. Costs nothing to have manners.
Overall, we had a lovely, relaxing 8 nights stay and we will think about returning.

We returned for the 3rd time to the hotel and was just as good as our previous stays with some little improvements here and there being able to book the restaurants 3 days ahead is brilliant!
Round the pool all the sun loungers are being replaced with wooden ones which is much better and also replacing paper cups with the plastic ones is a much better idea.
