The food here is amazing but the cocktails seriously let this hotel down. This is not the place to go if you appreciate a nice drink. If this was sorted out then we would definitely return! Otherwise the hotel is beautiful - lovely staff, great location and beautiful hotel rooms.

We recently returned from a week at Rixos Sharm El Sheikh. Overall, we had an absolutely fantastic time. The rooms are incredibly spacious and cleaned to a high standard daily. We had a fairly basic room, as we had no choice to upgrade (and I'm glad we didn't, but it was akin to a suite. Our cleaner, Ahmed, was faultless. The resort itself is massive with a wide variety of things to do. We tried the various pools, and pool bars, but mainly stayed at the Oasis bar as this was the quieter option. The guys at the Oasis pool bar we're, again, faultless and remembered our orders. It is this level of service that really boosts your experience. The food is generally of a high standard. The buffet was surprisingly really good, as are the al a carte restaurants our favourite being the Ottoman restaurant. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at a fantastic resort and it's evident why so many people choose to return year in, year out.

Here at the hotel as I write this review Food - absolutely outstanding, and there's so much choice Drinks - this is what let's this place down. The alcoholic drinks are cheap local ones which are absolutely awful, but the non-alcoholic ones are pretty decent Cleanliness - 95% of the hotel is spotlessly clean, just the odd little things where I think it can improve i.e. clearing the pool bar area more, food left lying around for hours for the birds to feed on, and the bar itself not been cleaned enough at the middle pool
