Great Service, staff friendly and helpful. Lovely rooms and Club level stay was wonderful. Only issue was we were told we had no smoking rooms but was obvious from smell in room and ashtray thst this was not the case.

We stayed at the Sofitel for six nights in a Club Room, and the entire experience was outstanding. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a stunning view. The Club Lounge staff were exceptional — friendly, attentive, and consistently going above and beyond. Huge thanks to Arman, Tawata, Sameel, Badeepa, Vino, Mairizel, Papyanka, Coline, and LPN for making our stay unforgettable.

This is my fourth stay at the hotel, and it never fails to impress me. The furniture was rather worn this time, however, and there were a couple of small issues: a broken door handle and unpleasant-smelling water bottles. The staff however are most helpful and exceedingly kind. Lev, who looked after my room, was a true gentleman and deserves a particular mention. All things considered, it's an excellent choice for a short stay in Dubai, and I should certainly consider returning on a future visit.

The service was great , especially the valet area. Staff were very welcoming. For me , I didn’t enjoy the breakfast, wasn’t a great selection. The room was definitely of high standard in terms of size and cleanliness. However ,the glass water bottles provided had a funny smell near the edge of the lid when drinking. The spa facilities weren’t great was too small. Jacuzzi wasn’t good quality the jets were really slow and low pressure. Temperature of the jacuzzi also wasn’t hot enough.

Even though our stay was unfortunately short, the time we spent at the hotel was memorable in all the right ways. Our suite was spacious and beautifully appointed. The staff at the Sofitel the Obelisk were warm and welcoming and the hotel itself is commanding and incredibly stunning

We recently enjoyed a wonderful 3-night stay at Sofitel Obelisk to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and overall, we had a fantastic experience. The hotel itself was beautiful, the facilities were excellent, and our room was lovely and very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was a great selection to choose from. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, particularly the lovely girl at the front desk who acknowledged our anniversary when we arrived. Our only disappointment was that, apart from the welcome at check-in, there was no further recognition that we were celebrating such a significant milestone. We had mentioned that we were staying to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, so we were hoping there might have been some small acknowledgement or special touch during our stay. We understand that this isn't something a hotel has to provide, but it would have made our stay feel even more special and memorable. That said, this was only a small disappointment in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. We would definitely recommend Sofitel Obelisk and would happily stay again. We just hope the hotel might consider recognising guests who are celebrating significant occasions in the future, as even a small gesture can mean a lot and create a truly memorable experience.
