Had a great four night stay at the Novotel Bur Dubai. At reception, Sherif helped me with check in/out, and Cho aided me with little things during my stay. Both were lovely and endlessly endearing. There were other interactions with the staff at the front desk, from Housekeeping and at the Hangout Cafe at breakfast that were similarly pleasant. The room was well comfortable. The TV had a great system that acts as a Chromecast if you’d prefer to connect your streaming services to it. The upholstery on the bench/sofa were a little worn. There are some nice touches in place for sustainability like glass water bottles that Housekeeping will top up when they make up the room, and amenities like dental and shaving kits are only available upon request. I only needed my room to be made up once during my stay and it was done well enough. There was a decent breakfast spread but not many day-to-day variations. What they did offer was of great quality and I made full use of it.
