We stayed here before and knew that rooms are small. First night of our stay, We found a bed bug crawling on the blanket. It’s the first time I saw one and it felt disgusting. My husband immediately called the reception. He told over the phone that there is a bed bug on the blanket. He said also we have a video of it crawling on the blanket. He said of course they can take the bed bug. With my husband’s conversation over the phone, in my opinion, the one who answered him didn’t believe my husband. My husband was able to put it in a plastic (mask coming from the plane of emirates). They didn’t respond immediately. It took them like 15-20 minutes? We removed the bedsheets and saw blood stained on the mattress. 2 men came, maybe from the the reception and a security. They asked for the bed bug and gave it to them of course. He transferred us to a different room 1 floor above and gave a complimentary breakfast. But we didn’t have breakfast. I kept checking the blanket and bed. It was freakishly disgusting. Water heater from 226 (bed bug) to 326 the new room, both water heaters are not working. The bigger shower head was not also working. Location is good. Near healthcare services and metro. Honestly, the attitude of your staff in Novotel Bur Dubai are not very friendly and welcoming. It’s like they are just doing their job approach to guests. When I was checking in, the guy on my right side was on the phone so i didn’t bother him and went straight to my left at the lady. I said for check in, and she said to go to the other guy, the one on my right side who was still on the phone. So I went to him. He was still busy but trying to accommodate me. A couple came and went to that lady on my left side, she accommodated them for check in. She was looking at some paper files when I came to her and when the couple came also. I was being considerate to your staff. Your employees should do the same.

It was good stay but some behaviors were bad like we have surprised when someone from housekeeping team open our Internal common room door and enter during sleeping!!

All was good, but the A/C can’t be adjusted inside the room

However I wish you would have escalated this during your stay then our maintenance team could come over fix this issue or offer you any alternative solution.
