Hotel Rooms are clean , staffs a re good , over all nice stay but don't expect a luxurious setup. check in can take a lot of time ( This one i don't under stand why the hotel reception is taking so much time ..this happens in almost all hotels in here)

Th Hotel ambiance and general sanitation is good. The staff at the reception and restaurant are very friendly and helpful. Me and my wife felt at home. Two minor short comings, the amenities that should be there were not adequately replenished such as coffee capsules. Laundry service need improvement in quality and timeliness.

Reached at hotel @ 17:30 hrs, room was not ready, room allocated at 18:30hrs Luggage from parking arrived after another 1 hours @ 19:30hrs. 1 hours check in time and 1 hour luggage arrival time from parking to room.

Indian male smoking by the pool because there was no “No smoking” sign

I wanted to relax but this hotel stay was a horrible experience and was everything but relaxing. I was swimming at the pool and an Indian male was smoking next to me. I asked him to smoke somewhere else away from the pool, he refused and said that there is no “Smoking is prohibited” sign. I spoke to the life guard who went and spoke to the Indian male who refused again. I called security and security spoke to the male again and he refused to stop smoking because there was no sign!!! I recommend putting a sign that indicated Smoking is not allowed to avoid such a distress to other non smoking people. I want to clarify that this male’s kids were swimming at the pool too which is bazar to me to see people smoking next to kids here in the UAE. Im a UAE national and i stayed in many hotels in the UAE before, i have never encountered such a terrible hotel experience in my lifetime.

Decent Hotel with undertrained staff

The staff at reception was complete disaster. They have no clue of what they talk and still keep continuously asking for money as they are super confused but super confident and bit on arrogant side. All bout reception staff - First day i check in at 5AM they tell me that i havent paid for breakfast and continue to defend their claim only to realise after 10 minutes after checking in system that they were wrong. Then they start telling me that i booked through booking.com so i dont get loyalty points etc and i made loss booking through booking.com and its always beter to directly book with hotel. Day 2 at reception - My room had some problem with used matchsticks lying around ( in non smoking room) and dust in balcony so i called 3 times and no one turns up. Then i went to complain at reception after breakfast and the Indian lady at reception made faces like how stupid i am.to complain, she was like ok i heard you now get lost what's the big deal. In fact she told me i heard you so its ok. No concern on her face rather arrogance. Last day - i asked to keep my bill ready in morning again hell lot of confusion, chaos and finally get my bill at 6:30 pm after lot of explanations. I lost my faith in Accor chain. Other than reception staff, all other staff was amazing.

One of the first thing that reminds me of my stay at Novotel is the comfortable bed and pillow. Had such a blissful sleep. Second customer service was amazing. Irfan helped me with my Check in and gave me some ideas of what was available around the hotel. Ihsan was of great great help. I was having some issues during my stay and he told me to leave it with him and he will sort it out and he eventually did !! So happy with him for his amazing customer service .

Fairly new hotel close to Wafi Mall at reasonable prices

The hotel was very good value for money and as I'm a gold member of the Accor loyalty programme, I got an upgrade to a suite after a very nice welcome from Diksha. It's close to the Wafi Mall, the Raffles hotel and the Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk. There's a small exercise room. Since the rooftop swimming pool is quite small, about 15 metres long, you can always buy a day pass to use the pools at the other hotels. You have a very nice view of them from the rooftop. It's very convenient for getting a PCR test close by for AED 150 at the Emirates Speciality Hospital 24 hours a day without an appointment but with a rather long queue. The hotel opened in November 2019 so the rooms are in good condition and my small suite was fine with a dining and living area and a large bedroom with a desk and two armchairs. There was a minibar in each room which was nice as I had done some shopping at Marks & Spencer at Festival Mall and had dinner in the room. I had an enjoyable stay there and would come back again.
