The Fairmont team were superb looked after the family from airport arrival through to all needs the resort and our departure. Everything was superb the Fairmont resort Marrakech is beautiful and the tour guide was knowledgeable, food was fantastic - it has been a seamless relaxing experience.

Stuff was amazing, stay was very comfortable

Myself and my two grown daughters were well looked after by ALL staff. We made most of the spa facilities, each enjoying the hammam, facial and massage as well as the fitness centre. Choice of pools and vibe was also excellent and I particularly enjoyed use of the adult only pool! The special attention to detail such as foot and neck lotions as well as a bottle of water each evening was much appreciated. Any issues we had were quickly dealt with. Each and every staff member should be congratulated for their attentiveness and professionalism. We also took advantage of eating at each restaurant and enjoyed our meals for different reasons. The chef spoke directly to us in the Italian themed restaurant which was a nice touch.

Very welcoming staff

We recently stayed at Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech as a family and overall came away with a very positive impression of the resort. The hotel itself is beautiful, with large well-kept grounds, a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space. It works very well for families because everyone can enjoy the resort in their own way, whether by the pool, using the sports facilities or simply relaxing around the property. The rooms and accommodation are comfortable and well presented, and the general standard of the resort is what you would expect from a Fairmont property. There were a few issues at the beginning of our stay, mainly around communication and planning, and I do feel certain things could have been handled better. I raised these directly with the hotel at the time. However, what impressed me most was how the team responded and how much our overall experience improved during the stay. For me, the biggest strength of Fairmont Royal Palm is the staff. Across almost every department, the team were friendly, smiling, approachable and genuinely keen to help. Whether at breakfast, around the pool, at reception, housekeeping, guest relations or simply passing members of staff around the resort, there was a warmth that felt natural rather than forced. Having stayed in many hotels and resorts over the years, you notice the difference between service that feels scripted and service from people who genuinely care about the guest experience. At Royal Palm, we came across many staff who clearly did care. I also noticed that the team generally seemed happy and engaged in their work. I did not encounter staff who appeared frustrated or uninterested, and I think that says a lot about the culture of the hotel. Operational issues can always be improved, but finding people who genuinely want guests to have a good experience is much harder, and this is where I think Royal Palm has a real strength. I would particularly like to mention Juliette from Guest Relations. She was excellent throughout our stay. She listened properly, never became defensive and always focused on trying to improve the experience for our family. Most importantly, she made us feel genuinely welcomed and looked after. Her approach was warm, professional and very natural, and she made a real difference to our stay. The resort facilities are also very good. The pool areas are attractive, there is plenty of space, and the overall setting is peaceful and relaxing. The fitness facilities were another positive for me, as having a proper gym is important when I travel. Breakfast offered a good range and, once the service settled, we enjoyed it. The overall food and beverage experience was good, and there are enough options around the resort to give some variety during a longer stay. In terms of location, the hotel is around a 30-minute drive from the Medina. For us, this worked well because we wanted the space and calm of a resort while still being able to go into Marrakech when we wanted. The hotel offered two transport options during our stay: a taxi at around 250 MAD each way, or a hotel car at around 370 MAD each way. We used the transport without any difficulty, although it is worth factoring this additional cost into your stay if you plan to visit the Medina regularly. I do think there are areas where the hotel could improve, particularly around communication, consistency and making sure guests are fully informed about anything that may affect their stay. At this level, those details matter. However, a fair review should reflect the whole experience rather than only the first day or one particular issue. By the end of our stay, we had a very different feeling about Fairmont Royal Palm compared with when we first arrived. What changed our opinion most was not one particular gesture or facility, but the people. The warmth of the staff, their willingness to help and the feeling that many of them genuinely wanted us to enjoy our holiday made a real difference. We left with some lovely memories as a family and with a very positive view of the resort overall. Fairmont Royal Palm is a beautiful property with excellent facilities and, most importantly, a very good team of people. A special thank you to Juliette and to the many members of staff who helped make our stay enjoyable. We would happily consider returning.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech and could not recommend it more highly. The property itself is exceptional — beautiful infrastructure, breathtaking surroundings and stunning views that immediately make you feel like you are somewhere truly special. But what really sets the Royal Palm apart is the outstanding quality of the service. Every member of staff we encountered was incredibly courteous, kind, attentive and helpful, with an impressive level of responsiveness throughout our stay. The attention to detail is quite simply 12 out of 10. Everything is impeccably maintained, clean and beautifully presented, and you can feel the care that goes into every aspect of the guest experience. We also thoroughly enjoyed the variety of restaurant options and, most importantly, the consistently high quality of the food across the property. We spent an absolutely beautiful couple of days here and left genuinely impressed. A remarkable hotel in an extraordinary setting, with a level of hospitality that makes all the difference. We would wholeheartedly recommend the Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay.

Our suite of rooms were stunning, overlooking the gardens and golf course and beyond to the Atlas Mountains. The restaurants were amazing (L’Olivier lemon soufflé to die for) with each offering a completely unique, gastronomic flavour whilst the service was impeccable. What truly makes this hotel magical without doubt is its people. EVERY team member we encountered were genuinely lovely, warm, and deeply committed to making our stay unforgettable. A big shout out to the staff at the spa (Ikbale and Fatima) the buggy drivers, the pool attendants ( nothing was too much trouble) the amazing bar and fabulous cocktails were especially appreciated. Beautiful rooms, fantastic kids club but service felt forced and quite honestly lacked in many aspects. 2 fantastic bar staff stood out for us - the day time footballer and the guy in the suit who came from Dubai. However service was slow, room service for milk for our child’s bottle would take 50 - 1hr 15min which in my opinion is not good. Also only one restaurant for lunch with minimal options and a snack menu at le bar felt didn’t leave for many day time options, because of this lunch felt tedious. Pool guys were good and fast service.

We stayed for a week, the hotel is very beautiful from the entrance to the rooms, gardens and pools. The only point I was slightly disappointed by was that the kids club is very much tailored to younger kids (under 6) and there are no activities for older kids (6+) My daughter is 8 and was very sad that there were no activities either in the kids club building or any real organised pool activities that would be fun.

Our room was beautiful, extremely spacious, and thoughtfully designed, offering every comfort you could wish for. The facilities throughout the resort are top-notch, from the pools and wellness areas to the sports and leisure amenities. The culinary offering is diverse, with a wide selection of restaurants serving high-quality food. If there were one small area for improvement, it would simply be the portion sizes, which felt a little modest on some occasions. However, the quality and presentation were consistently excellent. Overall, Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech is an outstanding resort that combines authentic Moroccan elegance with world-class hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.

Family holiday for two week, pool / golf / enjoying the restaurants and resort.

I heavily rely on reviews before booking a holiday and I’m so glad I booked! We had a very smooth check-in and were upgraded which was a great touch. The drive from the airport to the resort is 10-15mins so easy with kids after the flight. My children thoroughly enjoyed kids club and I’d like to personally thank the ladies for their warmth. These ladies are a huge credit to the resort!!!! Special thank you to Heba :) Rashid and his team will look after you by the pool. Thank you Rashid for finding me all the shade :D The gym is well equipped with cardio and weights but also a separate yoga studio which even features a reformer Pilates station! The restaurants have delicious food but special shout out to the focaccia and tiramisu at Caprici…delicious! Breakfast has you covered with all your requests! Special thank you again to the team for remembering my daily order of kiwi & avocado and for being friendly with the children. Housekeeping team are fabulous! Thank you for keeping our room clean, it can be difficult with kids! All the staff are so warm and welcoming. This is a trip we won’t forget and we hope to be back next year :)
