We had a mixed experience. Our check-in was unsatisfactory. We waited for 20 minutes. When we got to the desk we were told that colleagues either side (dealing with customers and with queues waiting behind them) would deal with us and the gentleman just walked away. We called him back. He explained that he should have finished an hour earlier. He did however check us in but then just walked away leaving us with no idea where we are going. We went to the concierge desk where a kind young lady took us most of the way to our room. Nobody is managing your check-in experience and it was the worst welcome we received in Morocco. Similarly bad check out. Person at desk was not interested. Did not offer review of our bill and the payment was confusing and we were charged more due to the rate conversion. No assistance or interest was shown. The first room we were offered was poor. Open when we arrived, with a broken balcony door, heating that was broken, located above a noisy air conditioning unit (room 3210). Thankfully, you were able to offer a much better room in exchange and we were well looked after by a very polite and engaged porter. We had a lovely experience with Amine and team at your Moroccan restaurant and your breakfast spread is amazing. So, you have an impressive hotel with a lot of plus points but your front desk is not running in a professional, effective, or efficient manner. It is the first and last impression we had of your hotel and neither were good.

This is a beautiful hotel at a great location. The room I was given was spotless and had a nice balcony. But the best part of my stay was the exceptionally warm welcome I received from Najiya Boukhalfa with guest relations. She went above and beyond to ensure that I was more than satisfied during my short stay. It was a pleasure to converse with her in Swedish as well, which was a very nice surprise! She even took the time to greet me during breakfast, which I’m not even sure how she found the time since the hotel was basically at max capacity. The staff at breakfast were very engaging and friendly, taking their time to walk me through their local dishes. Good variety of tasty dishes! Will definitely return when I visit next time!

I had to call for basic needs such as more water at least four times before bottles were delivered. Staff were rude. We had a hotel car to take us to the airport at 11.30 am. Anticipating that service will be slow, I checked out and paid our bill in full at around 9 am. When leaving at 11.30 am, my sister took the room cards to leave it with reception - the queues were extremely long and slow so she tried to leave the room cards with the concierge who refused to accept the cards (!!!) and even walked out of the hotel with us to stop the hotel car from taking us to the airport. Concierge staff's name was Rhizlan. Lady who checked me out was Asma. You cannot put people like Rhizlan as your staff serving customers. Like I said it was single handedly one of the worst experiences in my life. I travel the world for work and holidays. I will never recommend your hotel, or even a Movenpick in my life. That is how bad it was. I have also never taken the time to write a review - this is my first time.
