I had a very pleasant stay. I was greeted warmly at reception, and the check‑in was quick and uncomplicated. The room was clean and well equipped — it even had a desk, although I didn’t need it. The breakfast was good, with a nice selection. I especially liked the central location: there are plenty of restaurants and food malls around the hotel, making it easy to go out in the evening. A great choice for anyone who wants to be right in the middle of things.

The main problem with my stay was the constant noise, which made it extremely difficult to sleep. There was significant noise from both the ventilation and extraction systems in the corridor, as well as from the ventilation inside the room, which could not be switched off. On top of that, there were very loud noises coming from the area around the elevators. The combined noise level was so disturbing that I ended up buying earplugs just to be able to sleep. A hotel room should, first and foremost, provide a quiet place to rest. Unfortunately, that was not the case during my stay, and it had a major impact on the overall experience.

Overall, my stay was acceptable, but there were several areas that could be improved. During the first days, I experienced quite a lot of noise coming from the corridor, including noise related to housekeeping, which affected the comfort of my stay. I could also hear neighbouring rooms, including a dog barking from one of them, which was disturbing. This was particularly disappointing because the rooms were advertised as soundproofed, so the level of sound insulation did not match my expectations. After I complained about the noise, I was moved to another room, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the new room had an unpleasant smell coming from the ventilation. I also sometimes felt uncomfortable regarding the timing of room cleaning, as I had the impression that housekeeping staff were waiting to see when I would leave the room rather than simply communicating with me about a suitable cleaning time. There were also a few room-design and maintenance issues. In the first room, the shower mixer appeared to have been installed incorrectly, with the hot and cold water controls operating in the opposite direction to what was indicated, which was confusing. A fully closing shower door would also have been preferable, as water could easily escape onto the bathroom floor. It would have been useful to have a safe for storing valuables and documents securely, as well as tissues available in the room. In addition, the wardrobe positioned next to the desk made that area feel somewhat cramped and reduced the usable space. Breakfast could be more consistent in terms of both variety and service. Jam was not available every day, and cake seemed to be offered only during the weekend, although this was not explained. When certain items were unavailable, no alternative options were suggested. The staff also did not seem particularly proactive in offering other possibilities, such as preparing an omelette. On a few occasions, breakfast staff also removed items or dishes I had just taken without asking whether I had finished with them. The reception experience was another weak point. The staff often seemed rather reserved and not particularly welcoming. I frequently found myself having to greet the staff first, which felt unusual from a customer-service perspective. A warmer and more proactive welcome would have improved the overall atmosphere. On a positive note, the hotel is in a very good location, which made it convenient for getting around Warsaw. I also appreciated the fact that there are multiple elevators, which made moving around the hotel easier. Given the hotel’s location and the fact that many guests may be staying for several days, it could also be useful to offer or promote a three-day public transport ticket as part of a guest package, or at least provide clearer information about longer-duration transport options. Overall, the hotel was generally fine, but more attention to hospitality, communication, sound insulation, maintenance, breakfast consistency, practical room design and basic in-room amenities would considerably improve the guest experience.
