The room generally was fine. The people who worked there were great. The problem was that the room was WAY too dark. We needed to leave in the morning before the sun came up, and the room lighting was so dim that we had trouble packing and being sure that we weren't leaving anything behind.

Everything was great except the breakfast. We had an early flight. They used to have very early breakfasts. Sadly, breakfast starts at 6am now, so we received packed food, which we did not like that much. The kids didn't eat any of it and we had to buy breakfast in the terminal.

It was conveniently next to Budapest Airport Terminal 2. The indoor decor was very minimalist and the property is shared with its TRIBE sister hotel. The room was clean and had basic amenities. The hospitality was neutral as some hotel staff seemed somewhat dismissive especially when I went to the only restaurant and after I finished my meal and drinks. I had to repeatedly grab the attention of the server to get the bill as I had to turn in early to wake up for an early morning flight. This disappointing experience was the only thing that affected my rating.

I’ve stayed only a night but wish it was more! The room was perfectly comfortable, location is amazing - literally 5 min walk from the airport - and the hotel bar is lovely. Staff at the check in and at the bar was really friendly and nice. They have assisted me with everything. When I’ll have another step over in Budapest I’ll defo stay here again!

Basic hotel room with no frills or amenities. Expensive, as was the lobby restaurant. But for a five minute walk to the airport at 4am, it worked perfectly.

No wash clothes in the bathroom. Hard to get out of the bed on the right side. Should be instructions on how to get some lights on but not all. TV just came on in middle of the night. Unfinished ceiling not appealing IMO. Check in staff was VERY helpful and friendly.

I really love Ibis and I'm staying your hotel quit often the past period. At the airport the room was fine, but all eating and drinking need to be done via Tribe hotel and I found that very expensive, but had no other choice thendo my eating and drinks there. In every Ibis hotel I got a water cooker and tea/coffee, but that wasn't the case here. So when I had to leave early to catch my flight Ididn't had the possibilty to just make myself a coffee. Again, I really love Ibis but the Airport Hotel wasn't quit as good that i'm used to.

The room was ok, but not much decor. Not much care was taken to cover the bare concrete ceiling. It was quite strange that there was no fridge in the room, while outside the temperature was 30+ degrees. When I asked at reception if we could have a fridge or some other option to keep a couple things cool, I was told that if I paid 7 EUR extra, then I could get a mini fridge. What comes next - would we have to pay extra for the toilet paper???
