Everything was 5 star besides the restaurant experience. Service was excellent but the Burger was 1 Star. Seriously I had to wait 30 minutes for dry, overpriced not retro “Retro Burger”. probably the worst one I ever had.... everything else was top notch!

Perfect location, only 5 mins away from the airport. The hotel was beautiful and so clean. Loved the bar and restaurant downstairs as well. The staff also were all very kind and polite.

Hotel is situated exactly on the airport which is great.Staff is really friendly, food was delicious as we were able to order it late evening. I would described hotel as exact what it is-airpot hotel, so it is designed to come in, have a sleep, take shower and catch up flight. Only one minus from me, I was told there is 25€ charge for parking and even I showed my ticket to receptionost I was charged 143€ for one night. Explanation was that I suppose to show my ticket in the morning to the receptionist but I did that like 3times night I arrived and she said she doesn't need it all. So.. Bit of a dissapointment as hotel can't do anything about it after... Other than that, its a really nice place to stay especially for morning flights. And two guys in bar/restaurant were the most amazing servers you could wish for.

Please note that the parking area is owned and operated by BUD International Airport. Therefore the pricing of the public parking options is irrespective from our hotel and is made by Budapest Airport Zrt. The parking lot you used is available for the hotel guests and rental cars. That means, using the parking unauthorized (without having the ticket validated by our hotel or by any car rental companies) results a penalty of 50 000 HUF/night. This regulation is indicated in several forms on the territory of the parking area. As you used the parking apparently justifiably, you should have only paid the mentioned fee (25 EUR/night). Probably during check in there was a misunderstanding, which might be the reason why my colleagues did not validate your ticket and offer you the hotel's parking rate. Furthermore please be informed that our reception is available in 24/7, next time if your experience will not fully meet your expectations feel free to contact them any time! Please be sure that we have learnt from your review as all of us’ aim to improve our services in order to make all our guests satisfied. A bit disappointing

The stay itself was fine, the room clean and the breakfast was alright as well. But we thought it was a bit excessive to apply a 15% service charge to the barmaid taking out two energy drinks from the fridge. We wouldn't have complained if she made us some cocktails but this was just ridiculous. When we mentioned this at the reception at check-out, the receptionist just shrugged her shoulders, telling us "some hotels include service charge in the prices, we don't", which is all well and good, but then why did it cost us four times the normal price WITHOUT the service charge? It's just not a good look.

Quirky yet Useful Hotel

My last stay here was in September of last year and I am happy to report that Both bedside lamps were fully functional this time!! ( Koszonom szepen ). The staff are courteous and very helpful. I had an evening meal which was good if a little expensive for what it was. However breakfast is good wholesome hearty fare with a wide choice and plenty to replenish the inner man. The room was very clean and functional for a single evening stay. The bare concrete ceiling over the bed does, in my humble opinion, give an impression of the Fritz Lang film 'Metropolis' rather than creating the feeling of a comfortable evening's rest & relaxation. On the whole this a a very good hotel especially if you have an early departure the following day. The decor maybe quirky but this hotel is well worth booking for the pure convenience and service it provides at a very good price. I am happy to recommend ibis Styles Budapest Airport to family and friend. I will certainly be returning in the future.

We had really great experience staying there for 2 nights! Super friendly reception and restaurant staff, fruits, sweets and sparkling wine as a welcome gift for Gold member and chatty bartender made our stay really wonderful! Room was spacious and clean but a fridge/minibar and coffe-maker would make it perfect. Breakfast was good but more hot dishes and lactose-free dairy would be highly appreciated.
