I arrived at the hotel, introduced myself as aircrew and accor member, asking for availability and day rate for a 0830 checkin and 1500 checkout. The reception staff seemed confused and had to call few colleagues to confirm. After consulting with colleagues and after couple of phone calls, I was informed it was "ok" and they proceeded to ask me for an amount way higher than the All Accor special rates (for either day or night). I was suprised and confirmed if it was the All Accor rate or air crew rate (my company doesn't have an account with Ibis, but I'm an All Accor member) and I was answered "same". I accepted the proposed rate as I had only few hours rest available and I was underwemingly provided with a room card without any presentation of the facilities, having never been at the Budapest Airport Ibis Styles, I was not informed about any of the services (if any) such as meals, room service, gym, crew room, etc. I didn't ask for further details as I was already disappointed with the experience so far and assumed the interaction was not going to improve due also to the limited English abilities of the staff assisting me.

It was very convenient to stay one night at the airport. I had to stop for a night after a long flight. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near the airport. It is a 2-3 minute walk from the airport under a covered walkway. The staff is kind and helpful. The hotel has a restaurant, and the airport has a Spar if one needs to pick up something from a market. Great hotel. If you are here to visit Budapest for a few days, I recommend staying at a hotel in the heart of the city since this hotel is far from all the attractions.
