So I book the room in the late evening, arrived at the hotel, all things are going well until I arrive at my room. At first glance, everything seems fine, however, when I walk around. I could notice dust and other fine particles on the floor. The glass and mugs provided seem clean, but when I look at it closely, I could see the "lips" print on the glass. That is just disgusting.

The location is perfect as it is right next to the MRT - very easy to go around. The staff at the reception are very nice and helpful. There are only a few guests around during this time so the environment is very quiet and peaceful. The room is fine but we have seen some signs that the place could run down too early if proper maintenance has not been done. The overall stay was actually very nice. We experienced some minor issues which we stated in the next section.

Firstly, please understand me that this is not a complaints but please treat as constructive improvements as I am also working in the hotel business and please allow me to provide you with some feedback and improving points may have. Arrival - Staff does not have sense of urgency as when I told her that I have no booking and what's the other promotion may have. Question was not asked us at all of how many nights would like to stay or etc. - Actually I know the promotion for Thais at Baht 999 net and I refer to this and staff agreed to enroll me in. - Privileges and benefits was not explained or described thoroughly and finally I have to remind them of late check out 1600hrs. At this point, FO staff should highlight more of the benefits/ privileges extended to guest to make the most value for money. - Breakfast and timing was not explained to me at all. - Hotel facilities i.e. Gym was not explained to me either. - I actually ask for an upgraded of my room to Deluxe and was denied by your staff which is fine but I think this is not so flexible as a repeated guest when you are in this situation. Guest who supports you at this period should be thanks or pampering than the normal circumstance but I respect your policy and keep quiet. Upon arrival in the room. - Room is not ready upon arrival (1130hrs) which I do understand that check in time is 1400hrs but with this circumstance , most of the hotel are all empty and the room should be avialable since 1100hrs - After lunch and we back almost 1400hrs, room key was given to the room by ourselves and the room is not close properly when I be there and the copy room key of room attendant (white plain card) still in the slot but noone there and I assume that the room is ready as room key #708 was issued to us. - Later on we found that there is only 1 set of towel and face towel . Finally we have to ask Housekeeping for am additional set. During Stay - We know that the room is in the middle of sun throughout the day but since step in 1400hrs until we leave the room at 1700hrs, room temperature has decreased from 26 C to 25C only which is unusual even we set up at 15C. At this time, I hope you understand that the room is so warm for the past 3 hours. Before leaving the hotel to out side at 1700hrs - I explain to FO staff of all details of in room temperature has decreased only 1C after adjusting air cond to 15C for 3 hours. I prefer to change the room and already pack my belongings that you can move for us. - When I return from outside at 2130hrs, found that the room has not been changed and FO team explain us that engineering has already checked and found nothing wrong, air con is working well. - I am so tired of talking to your team and decide to stay and do not want to place any complaints as late night. Breakfast experience - Only us and another table but we were not greet upon arrival. - Cutlery was not set up on the table which I like it as hygiene concerned but even food was served to us but still has no cutlery and finally I have to walk back to pick up cutlery by myself. - In the menu mentioned soy milk with condiments but when I order , this was served with only soy milk without condiments. - Bread is there and with my fault, it too dark when we do this toast and no staff around. hence, I have to walk back to the kitchen and ask for toast and thanks to culinary team to make a nice toast for us . - Butter is not on the buffet line and have to ask for. - Coffee was served in the mug nicely but without any spoon or sugar, we have to pick up ourselves. Check out - Seems so slow and takes longer time than usual. In general, we are dissapointed with the overall services as the hotel has closed for a while and staff should be more fresh and eager to help, please and serve guest. On the opposite side, we feel like your staff lack of motivation or lack of self motivation. Managers or Department Heads should built up staff morale and confidence before opening the door to welcoming the guest. In general, I rate this stay experience as average but this could be much better and create more of positive impact or brand conscious.

This stay was my first stay after the past weeks of lockdown. Thank you the hotel management for acknowledgement of Accor Plus Platinum Elite member and improved guest experience service by organizing well prepared room with fruits plates and sweet letter presented in room which I like them so much. In response to the Coronavirus outbreak, I observed that the hotel had implemented more cleaning and disinfection measures according to Ministry of Public Health guidelines and the new normal services in all facilities. I do hope that the hotel would closely monitor the advice of medical and government authorities continuously, I expect to return to stay here again in the future.

It’s was a very pleasant stay. Hotel is conveniently located to train station. Reception Win and Blue were very helpful and efficient in checking me in. However I find the toilet space very tight. The air-conditioning is not strong. I was actually perspiring when night when I sleep. (Rm 735) Overall it was a pleasant stay. I’ll be back very soon again. :)

Wonderful experience. Staff were prompt to process the checkin. Hotel is in a good location just beside the train entrance. Hotel is very new, clean and modern. Rooms were big and nice.

Location is the best right next to MRT Huai-Kwang, very easy to go anywhere on the train lines. Close to Train Market and a fews shopping centre. Staffs are nice and polite, hotel itself very nice and clean. One thing we didn't really happy with is room service had been charge for a cup of milk. As an Australia we are drinking tea and fresh milk not milk powder. We would be happy if we have been given a choice to know that we will be charge for a cup of fresh milk. Otherwise overall we are so happy with our stay with Ibis. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
