A three night stay was perfect at the Mercure - great, clean hotel, spacious rooms, lovely pool and facilities and good choice and quality of breakfast. The staff could not have been more helpful. Not the first time I have stayed here and probably not the last! Highly recommended.

I am a old member of accor group and again renued membership and wanted to try Mercure. I was welcomed by Ms. Kate at reception extremely well upgraded to spacious room, made me feel very comfortable. I was indeed great experience.

While the rooms are well appointed, there are a few practical drawbacks worth noting. The shower cubicle is particularly tight, and with the door opening inward only, it can be quite awkward, especially for anyone above average build. Lounge access was also a little underwhelming. Breakfast is not served in the lounge, but instead in the main restaurant, which takes away from the exclusivity you might expect. The lounge itself is open for reasonable hours, however the offering is quite limited and feels more like light rations than a proper all day service. It’s also worth noting this is very much a family oriented hotel, so expect a lively atmosphere with plenty of children around, including the usual noise that comes with that.

The hotel is in need of renovation and maintenance. The water temperature was inconsistent and the team was unable to fix it. On the bright side, the team was kind, especially Kitt and Top who were amazingly dedicated, friendly and brightened our days.
