Every visit to the Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium continues to impress me! The team truly puts their heart into delivering outstanding service, making each stay memorable. A big thank to the fantastic and talented team led by the General Manager Khun Jon Warmington for creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location of the hotel is perfect, with easy access to everywhere, including a short walk to the MRT. The on-site restaurants and bars are wonderful, offering a great dining experience. Benihana always rocks and cleaning of the hotel is on top notch! Highly recommended!

This was my very first visit to Bangkok, but my wife has visited the city numerous times. We were in Bangkok as our daughter was competing with her school in a competition and she was staying in their sister hotel Pullman. We had booked a room for 7 nights. Check-in was smooth and went to our room. The room was large and on the 18th floor. huge bed and pillows and all the switches were bedside including the a/c controls. The rooms maybe considered a little dated, but everything worked and was comfortable. They had some welcome candies in our room for our enjoyment. The hotel is trying to be very sustainable and very little plastic in use. Even the room keys were wooden. (A first for me.) Breakfast was good and lots of varieties, There was Chinese, Korean, Indian, Western etc. But for some reason no Thai food offered. I have a feeling this is a deliberate choice. Maybe it had to do with the many airline crew staying there. But anyway, I was ok with it and should say I was hooked on Indian masala tea for 7 days. I only remember miss Mook and miss Nook in the breakfast room. That's my mistake. All of them were excellent and service impeccable. Housekeeping was also excellent. Not once did we need to ask for anything. They made sure the room was serviced properly. 2 days before check out we got a note saying they were trying to deliver something to our roman we should contact them for delivery. I forgot about it but on the last evening when we returned, there was a metal plank with 3 chocolate elephants on it. (white milk and dark chocolates). It was so pretty, we brought it home and still have it in our fridge. The last morning the part of the lights went out In the room. We called the front desk and someone from maintenance was there within minutes to fix it. It was a keycard error. Of course this things happen in a busy hotel. We had a nice stay in Grand Mercure Atrium, and I really enjoyed my first trip to Bangkok. Thank you to all of you for making our stay great. I am happy to have experienced Thai hospitality. This was our first experience away from Sukumvit and we loved it Great hotel, well appointed interior, excellent staff and fabulous food Happy hour is a must visit and order the spring rolls as your snack of choice - you’ll thank me later We would definitely stay again

Morning Jon Trust all well. I am really sorry that I took so long to send you my comments on my first stay in your property. All this is thanks to my good friend Mr Simon who I consider as my very good friend and advisor with regards to good properties in South east Asia I always say that first impressions are ever lasting visions and the first person who met me with a broad smile is the person in security the lady with glasses who quickly guided me to the front office. The people at front office who were there understanding that I am a platinum member guided me to the 23 floor where I was met by Ms Pong and Ms Priyo who were quick to finish my checkin formalities and show me to my room I will break up my review into 3 parts. Breakfast Lounge House keeping At the Breakfast I was shown all the kindness towards my diet needs. I had met the Chef Stephan and told him my needs and it was given to me every day. Both Mew and piew the managers took great care of me and all the staff were of great help to care my needs. My 10 days was such a pleasure to come and enjoy my breakfast. Would like to thank each and every member who touched my heart. Please forgive me if I left any name I will try to get the name on my next visit. Humble thanks to Maprang Prawe Noon AunAun Jam Fern Jenny Mook Eye AomAom Champ Natty Toon Tara Nook. Very special mention to Aon who I must say went out of the way to give me dinner when I know I was late I had come at 11 pm but trust me she never chased me out stating the place is closed but took care of my food. These are small things that create a lasting effort in a persons mind. The pineapple fried rice the tomato juice the cold latte and the chocolate drink were just very tasty hope my future visits these will continue. At the lounge Chef had taken care of some special food for me but I loved the Veg Suchi Samosa and veg pakoda the sandwitch was also very tasty. The cocktails were very mouth watering. I liked the pina colada and the special drinks that Priyao made. The other ladies went out of their way to ensure me and my partner had a great time. She enjoyed the blue Hawaii. My only request is if just the samosa can be part of my snacks on my visits. House keeping I always like to mention because they are the guys who ensure the place is spick and span and they always kept up to their timing. I did not get their names but they were great pls Thabk them for me This my first visit and every member of the property did their best to make my stay a big WOW. It is the small things that one does not notice that causes a guest to decide a place. And for me this has replaced the previous place. Before I even arrived at the hotel, I received a welcome email that asked about my arrival time and preferences, and detailed the various member benefits. This level of attention is rare for the Grand Mercure brand and was a pleasant surprise. (I was puzzled, though, as my attempts to reply to the email kept bouncing back, possibly due to my email provider.) The hotel staff were warm and considerate, especially Betty at check-in. She thoroughly explained the member benefits and hotel facilities, even providing a Chinese version of the information, which was very thoughtful. The hotel has an executive lounge that serves breakfast and offers sparkling wine and various cocktails during happy hour, which exceeds expectations, and the view from the window was excellent. In the evening, the hotel proactively provided turndown service, which is a nice benefit for the Grand Mercure brand and another pleasant surprise. The hotel’s facilities exceeded my expectations. Although the style is traditional, everything is well-maintained, and staying here was comfortable enough. (By the way, next time, I hope to get a newly renovated room. I will definitely return to this hotel on my next visit to Bangkok!) Of course, there are still some points for improvement. First, the elevator card reader had a bug and sometimes couldn’t recognize the room card. Second, the room’s amenities felt more like liquid than gel, making me wonder if they were diluted. The packaging was easy to open, which raised some concerns. Third, I didn’t receive a welcome gift during this stay. There was a card saying that due to the “Do Not Disturb” sign, they couldn’t provide dining services, but I am sure I didn’t use the sign, and the turndown service was provided later, which supports my claim. Overall, despite these minor issues, the hotel’s facilities are well-maintained, the service is friendly and attentive, and the member benefits are generous. Combined with the competitive pricing, this hotel is a great choice for Accor members visiting Bangkok.
