I stayed here for a week with my daughter, and overall it was a good value stay, though with a few notable shortcomings. Room 23rd Floor: The bed was comfortable, but the window—despite offering a lovely city view—was covered in visible white streaks and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Since we spent most of our time out, this wasn’t a major issue, but it would bother anyone planning to enjoy the view from the room. The bathroom shower cubicle is dated, with a door that doesn’t close or open properly, and mould on the tiles. It’s clear the bathroom needs renovation. The complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were poor quality, and the pump dispenser was broken. Accor Membership: As a paying Accor member, I was disappointed not to receive any room upgrade. Executive Lounge (23rd Floor): Same floor as our room. Very convenient, and the food offered was good. That said, we preferred breakfast downstairs at Public, which has a much bigger selection. Evening drinks and snacks in the lounge (set up downstairs in Public Restaurant) were also a highlight, with a good selection. Staff and Service: The team at Public restaurant was excellent. Reception, however, felt just okay—not as warm or welcoming as other hotels I’ve stayed at. Mr. Yong, the hotel’s transport driver whom I hired for a tour, was friendly and a pleasure to work with. The dry cleaning service did a wonderful job on my coat. The massage therapist was excellent too, though the massage area itself didn’t quite match the luxury the hotel advertises. Gym and Pool: The gym has plenty of machines, though mostly older ones but well maintained, and sanitising spray and towels are provided for wiping down equipment before and after use. The pool area is good, but food and drinks there are overpriced for Thailand—unlike at Public restaurant, which is very reasonably priced. Location: A real plus, the hotel is close to a well-priced laundromat and a salon (the woman there is very skilled), plus a 7-Eleven for convenience.

1.Corridors were stinky, air-purifiers should be used. 2. There’s a door in the room to our next room, it’s very thin and not noise-proof, you can hear clearly everything people say next door. 3. The staff in the restaurant are not well-trained. 4. The cleaning process after breakfast was not thorough: I witnessed a cleaning crew simply picking up some crumbs from the table then placing new plates and utensils without sanitation or wiping the whole table. 5. No early check in privilege for members.
