Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. However, I would have appreciated a wider variety of options at breakfast. I was particularly curious why there was no beef available. As I recall, there were many halal dishes was this due to religious considerations? As several guests have also pointed out in Google reviews, I believe the elevators require urgent improvement. Some elevators did not respond properly to certain floor buttons. During my stay, I witnessed an elderly gentleman who was unable to reach his desired floor and appeared almost trapped inside. Even the elevators that were operational seemed to have programming issues. I strongly recommend that Schindler, the company responsible for the elevator system, address these problems as soon as possible. Additionally, possibly due to some inconsiderate guests, I noticed towels and slippers left in the hallway of the guest room floors. While I do not intend to criticize any particular group, a five-star hotel should ensure that guest behavior aligns with the standards expected at that level and take appropriate action when necessary.

Experience was average. Room was ok. Washroom definitely needs renovation. Breakfast was good and had good variety of Indian vegetarian food. Which I did not like the most is after checkout I asked for 1 glass of water which they haven't given instead told me that I need to buy that. Really disappointing.

Too many Indian guests. The breakfast was of low quality for Grand Mercure level. The elevator did not run properly.
