The hotel has many amenities and the staff were wonderful throughout the visit, but there were a number of minor issues I encountered. In the room - Bathroom looked outdated - Shower tap started to show signs of aging - Towel ring by sink was dislocated, so it was never used - Towel rack above tub was not fully secured in place - Key card slot for power fell off and needed to be repaired Outside the room - Some tiles along pool were chipped or missing, leaving an unsafe edge on one end of the pool - I was not offered a complementary drink as an Accor member nor was becoming a member offered. I was already a member, but it did not show up on the system until after I arrived - Staff said I received discounts on food and drink because of the membership, but I was receiving discounts before I saw the card on the system, and I was told the discounts were because I was staying at the hotel - The hotel is located away from major public transportation. Although taxis are available through Grab, I expected a 5* hotel to have some means of shuttling guests for free to specific places, including the nearest metro station, to help them avoid lengthy walks in 38C weather to the station.

We had a truly magical experience at the Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium! I requested a corner room along with some birthday decorations for my daughter. The hotel staff really worked their magic and made the room feel incredibly special for her. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Good experience shown by Gelenda of priority check in that assist us til we at the 23 floor and always with a smile. Room is cleaned well daily and the lounge is comfortable but too bad not much time for dinner at the lounge. Except for the elevator, there is renovation - old upgrading but very noisy like the lift going to stop or drop as compared to when take new is very different.
