The hotel is designed really nice. Love staying in my room and enjoying the city view. The swimming pool is very nice, but the water is always cold. The staff always smile with the customers and are very helpful, but I wish they could provide more information about the hotel services and my room services in details. I did not know that the hotel provide golf cart service to the MRT station till the day I left, so I had to walk every other times.

Mercure Makkasan really stood out above my expectations for a 4-star hotel! Firstly, it's just a few minutes ride to Platinum-Pratunam-CentralWorld which makes living in BKK pretty easy. They also ply a free shuttle to Pratunam, which makes the whole experience so seamless. Secondly, the staff were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. We had great fun on New Year's Eve and on Jan 1st. The rooms were okay-spaced for a family of 3, but immensely tidy. I really appreciated the late checkout AND the free snacks & drinks in our room. The welcome drink was also yum! The staff also handed out free macarons on 31st Jan, which was a very hospitable touch imo! Would love to stay here when I'm back in BKK again.

This was our first stay at this hotel, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It’s within walking distance of the train station, as well as many bars and restaurants. They even offered a tuk-tuk service to and from the station when needed. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the room included a mini fridge and a smart TV to play our music. The pool was nice, with great views of the city. I’d definitely come back!
