Our room was sea facing and few meters away from sea shore so Stay was very comfortable and relaxing, we extended our stay one more day. Food was good in SeaGull restaurant. Although Hospitality was lacking in Kebabs & Tandoors. Over all we enjoyed the stay.

Honestly! I will be true no sugar coating here. There is a huge lack of empathy and kindness, the staff is upfront unprofessional and to be precise - rude and arrogant. Its not needed. You are not doing me a favour! I am paying for the stay and then availing the services So, its better to not act the other way around. Right from entering the hotel, I was not greeted, no welcome drinks. leave alone the security guard who did not bother to hold my luggage at the gate. (I let that go) The front desk can do better, we are customers and not your liability. Coming to the f&b restaurant staff! - Some of You guys need better training and a professional etiquette walk through. I will point it out, the guy taking the order for food at the egg counter was bluntly rude on my face and he did not even be subtle. What do you mean" I cannot place and order unless I tell you my table number?" I am not moving around remembering my table number, and you cannot order me to go check my number and come back! this incident just shook me. - I will be precise this happened on the morning of 30th August'26. (the guy at the egg counter wearing formals and had spectacles on) I hope some action is taken in this regard. Next, I was made to check out as soon as it was 12 noon, again that was really harsh. the front desk or someone sent the luggage guy at around 12:20pm out of the blue to get me out of my room, and the guy said - " its your check out and we are sold out and we need the room ready " honestly this was the last thing any guest would want to witness when they are just rushed and wanted to be thrown out of their room. I know the in and out of how things work. check ins happen at 3pm and there was immense time to clean my room for another guest. I honestly did not have a good stay as I did not feel welcomed and returning the 2nd time was a mistake. I just hope someone takes action on this matter. Best Shane

The resort was good, nicely maintained but when compared to other luxurious stays, the rooms are pretty small, lack some basic things like bathtubs, proper table to have dinner, alcohol glasses etc. staff need more training for being extra sweet towards guest, breakfast spread is very basic. Needs huge improvement in terms of taste and spread. There were no cheese, no pan cake/waffle live counter etc

This hotel has basic breakfast, below basic staff services, good rooms and big garden with nice beach. They have large conference area to accommodate and I think focus here is to cater conference public rather than private individuals.

Excellent property with beach access. We stayed for 2 days and last day of our stay there was a corporate booking. Property has 2 pools on main pool it was occupied with them and was packed. staff could have kept the other pool open as same time as the main pool so that other guests would have relaxed better. Also there were people smoking from deck above the pool. Have informed the staff but nothing was done. Atleast smoking should not be allowed near the pool as there were children playing in the pool

Housekeeping needs to be consistent. During housekeeping i observed they forget to put basic amenities back i.e. towels, toiletries etc. Front office also committed me to share the final in room and restaurant bill via email. But I have not received the same till date. Dining menu was also not very appealing, being a beach resort we expected few more sea food options. Breakfast spread was awful to be honest, same menu everyday, no variety. This was not expected from Novotel. Even our stay at Novotel Bheemli was much better.

The service is overall very lack lustre. Bad experience at the Bar, Disrespectful behavior by Housekeeping - With a prompt "Why do you need these?" when my wife asked for hand-towels. Never experienced such a horrible service mentality in any Accor properties. Highly disappointed - Ruined my birthday experience. Salman at front desk tried his best, but the image of the property is permanently ruined

We stayed at Novotel Dona Sylvia Resort from 20–23 August 2026, a big friends & family group of 8 adults and 4 kids, and the entire team made it an absolutely memorable trip. A special thank you to Gita Naik, Guest Experience and Loyalty Manager, who went out of her way to arrange a room upgrade for us as an Accor Platinum member — the kind of thoughtful, personal touch that makes all the difference when travelling with family. Dennis Dcosta, the General Manager, ensured the whole property ran seamlessly and that we felt genuinely looked after throughout our stay. Ashish Verma from the F&B team took great care of us at every meal, always attentive and warm. And Jagdish, the bartender at Mama Mia, deserves a special mention — his drinks and his energy added so much to our evenings there. With a large group spanning three generations, we needed a resort that could keep everyone happy, and Novotel Dona Sylvia delivered on every front — the rooms, the food, the grounds, and above all, the people. Highly recommend this property for families and large groups alike. We'll be back!

Unfortunately, we faced several service issues during our stay that significantly affected our overall experience. At the time of check-in, the **complimentary beer coupons mentioned in our booking details were not provided**. In addition, the **complimentary chocolates and fruits** that were provided to other guests staying in regular rooms were also not provided to us. This was disappointing, particularly as these amenities appeared to be part of the standard check-in experience for other guests. There was also an issue with the room occupancy. By mistake, I booked the rooms for **6 people**, but the app did not provide any option to modify the booking. The app specifically instructed me to contact the hotel at the time of check-in for any changes. However, when I informed the hotel, I was told that **no changes could be made to the booking**. Given the instructions provided by the app, this was quite disappointing. As it was the **rainy season**, we checked the room for an umbrella but found none. When I approached the lobby and requested one, we had to wait for approximately **30 minutes to receive a single umbrella for a family of five**. This was particularly inconvenient considering the weather conditions. Another unpleasant experience occurred when I ordered food at the hotel. The food was delivered, but the staff did not provide a pen for the required signature. I had to use **one of my children's sketch pens** to sign. Later, at around **10:30 PM**, a staff member came back to the room with a pen and informed us that the sketch-pen signature would not be accepted. This late-night disturbance for something that could easily have been resolved the next morning was unnecessary and added further inconvenience. Taken together, these incidents were well below the level of service we expected from the hotel and from the **Accor brand**. I was actually considering taking an **Accor+ membership**, especially given the points I have accumulated. However, after experiencing similar issues at **two different Accor properties — one in Nepal and another in Goa —** I am now quite disappointed and hesitant about continuing with the membership. I hope you will review this experience seriously and take the necessary steps to address these concerns and improve the overall guest experience.
