This is a superb place to stay with family and friends for relaxation. It is away from the city in a quiet location. We stayed there for three days and had a wonderful experience. The property is well maintained, and the staff are extremely courteous and helpful. We were treated like kings.

We had such an amazing stay at this property which is located in such a wonderful place! First things first, if you're into nature, birding and quiet, long walks, this is just the right place. Divar island is connected only through ferry so that keeps most of the riff-raff out and it is such a welcome change. You can spend time listening to the variety of birds and squirrels in and around the place. Right from coordination for our journey from Panjim to check-in, I would like to thank Adam for being so wonderful and efficient during our entire stay of 5 days. Though only 1 restaurant is currently functional, the food is quite good especially the sea-food. Special shout out to the restaurant staff especially Rohit and Priyanka who took such good care of us and really went out of the way. The resort has activities like indoor games, swimming pool, cycling, fishing and the staff can also arrange a taxi to tour the island and a boat for the mangrove tour which is another lovely experience especially during the sunset. We have been to so many of the bigger hotels and resorts around the country but this was one place made exceptional by the staff and the overall ambience so please keep it up! TIP - Pls be aware that Divar island is a very small place with nothing much to do except nature walks, lovely sunrises and sunsets by the river and watching the birds and locals go about their business. If you're looking for the typical beach and party vibes this may not be the place for you. For us, it was just perfect and we do really hope to be back again soon!

Dear Sanjay We want to share our sincere thanks with the entire team at Devaaya. A huge thank you to the F&B team and the Housekeeping staff who kept everything so well-maintained. Even the staff who work in the courtyards, keeping the premises clean, deserve a special mention. What stood out most to us was the genuine camaraderie among the staff. Seeing people from so many different states embrace their own cultures while working together as a family was truly heartening. That kind of teamwork is exactly what makes an organisation successful. Please keep this wonderful bond between the staff alive—it makes a world of difference to the guests. A special shoutout to Avina, who has walked extra miles to engage in a dialogue over phone/emails with me, and has been a major reason we always like to come back to Devaaya, since our very first visit in May 2022. For me, she is your Brand Ambassador. As a family, this was a truly high-quality stay for us. We were especially moved when the F&B team packed snacks for our journey back home. When they realised we were leaving for Mumbai at 4:30 AM, they prepared two bags of refreshments to keep us going. That gesture wasn't necessary, but it spoke volumes about your genuine hospitality.
