This place is absolutely a gem. It is well maintained, clean and well manicured. In general everyone is so helpful and pleasant. Food is good and the servers go above and beyond. Having said that I personally had few unpleasant experiences. I was paying by cash and when I gave 10K cash to the reception lady she quickly scammed me by saying it is only 8.5K. I did not dispute as I was tired from the travels and has experienced such events in India that lead nowhere. I was also charged rupees 100 + GST for a soda that actually costs rupees 20. Barring theses 2 things the overall stay was absolutely amazing.

I stayed at Devaaya Mercure on 29th and 30 th November,it was a reunion of my Medical college batch of 1981.The property is in an excellent location,the greenery outside and inside the premises is beautiful ,serene and relaxing. Check in was quick,the buggy ride to the rooms was lovely,room was very nice,best part was the big balcony and the lovely view outside.We had all the meals at the hotel,they were really good,excellent staff Overall it was an amazing stay,will surely come again and recommend to friends and relatives
