I had reserved twin bed with breakfast from ibis website. Sumit from front desk tried to sell me the room n breakfast at higher rate. I showed the confirmation email still he said he could not see my reservation. Suddenly he saw the reservation for the room but not the breakfast. After about 15 mins of explaination he said now I see your breakfast as well. I ain't dumb to notice what he was trying to do. First you say you don't see reservation in the system then because I didn't let things go you see the reservation, that's cheating. If you teach this in your training you guys have a very poor job, he couldn't sell me room at higher price. Also, I had reserved twin beds room, but got queen bed room. Shame!

I stayed at the Ibis Calangute recently, and honestly, the experience was pretty frustrating because the hotel just doesn't deliver what it advertises online. First off, the hotel's website and the Accor page state that the property has two business centers. When I checked in, I asked about this, and the receptionist flat-out told me that since it's a 3-star hotel, they don't have those kinds of facilities. The weird part? While I was sitting in the lobby waiting for my cab at checkout, I clearly saw a lift for business center. I'm not sure why the receptionist lied about it or if they were just poorly trained, but it was a very strange interaction. Then there's the food situation. The website says breakfast is available until 12 PM (except for live counters). But in reality, they start clearing nearly everything out—including the tea, poha, idli, and cornflakes—right after 10:30 AM. I was there until 10:45 one morning and it was completely packed up. It's not the biggest deal in the world, but it definitely feels like false advertising. Even when the breakfast is running, the service is really lacking. The staff just didn't seem to have any urgency to refill basics like plates, bowls, butter, and cream. On two separate days, I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes just to get those items. Waiting 20 minutes for a clean plate at a buffet is just not good. On my second day, I wanted some whipped cream for my pancakes and waited nearly 30 minutes for it. I ended up finishing my breakfast sitting right near the counter, repeatedly asking for it, and it was never refilled. When I finally asked for the manager, I was just told to "come back after 11" to discuss it. Definitely not an ideal experience. Another annoying issue was the bathroom amenities. When I got to my room, both the shampoo and body wash bottles were completely empty. Housekeeping came to refill them, but the pump on the bottle was broken so it couldn't dispense anything anyway. Basic stuff like this should really be checked before a guest walks in, especially since this was a standard-time check-in, not an early one. I will say the one saving grace was the housekeeping staff and the rooms themselves. The rooms were kept very clean and were always nicely made when I came back at the end of the day. The housekeeping staff was also genuinely helpful whenever I raised an issue with them directly. Overall, if you just want a clean place to crash, the rooms do the job. But if you are expecting the amenities they advertise online or attentive service at the restaurant, you'll probably be disappointed.

Room was reserved as per my request by Pradnya & delivered by Saurav of front Reception desk. Housekeeping staff, bar, Restaurant, Room dining, Musical night too was as per the expectations. All perks of Accor Explorer Gold Membership were applied & redeemed without any hassle. Easy & fast checkout process too. I will be very Happy to stay again in near future at ibis styles Goa Calangute.

While my package included beer bucket as complimentary, i was denied the same. Later o had to escalate and get the same resolved. As per Accor policy Kids dine was free however i was denied the same. Had to again escalate multiple times.
