Check in -3/5 . Loyalty not honoured nor they are aware . People were randomly getting into the desk without jonoring thr queue and they were least bothered Rooms-1/5 everything is very old and rusty .frequent power outages and I had to get up at midnight and run to the front desk to get the issue highlighted Ambience - 0/5 ,why renovate when you have people in your property paying 13k a night ?we deserve a peaceful setup .we were tortured with constant sounds Pool - no comments Food - 3/5 Kudos to the service manager and the staff for managing with such average buffet spread and quality . Thanks to the care shown by Biswajit ,else I would have rated it 1/5 . The dinner buffet was pathetic, even ginger beats this resort by a huge margin .

The Hotel is under renovation, there was constant construction house that did not help the idea of a relaxed holiday, I fail to understand why were rooms so close to construction work allotted since there would be so much disturbance. The pool too was non-functional due to renovation. In the room, the overall furniture and fixtures were worn out, there was rust on a few switches. the wooden frame door of the refrigerator was almost off the hinge. We had two similar rooms, yet one had a microwave while the other did not. The extra bed provided for additional occupancy was very uncomfortable, just sitting on it made it tilt leading to a fall, had to be extra careful while using the same. On May 2nd, the AC in all the rooms went off and did not resume till 6 odd hours, nearly most of the waking day that one would want to spend inside at a hotel due to extreme heat outside, were spent in suffocation in the room as the Fans too did not work well. Staff kept promising early resolution but that did not happen. Even after fixing, the AC and power went off twice around 11.30pm. A technician had to look into the fan issue, did not arrive despite reminders, the phone line had lots of disturbance, causing calls being cut and no clarity in communication. The staff assured that a senior person would get in touch regarding the AC issue faced but no one did. In room dinning food ordered from menu is bland and overpriced. Breakfast was good. So overall very bad experience.

I stayed at Novotel Resort & Spa for two days, and the overall experience was quite disappointing. After completing my booking, I was informed that the swimming pool was under maintenance. I spoke with the reservation manager to request a cancellation, but it was denied. Instead, I was offered an alternative property at an additional cost, which I declined. The manager then assured me that continuous shuttle service would be available to Novotel in Candolim for pool access. While we did use the shuttle service, the return experience was very inconvenient. The shuttle was significantly delayed, and we had to wait nearly 45 minutes. Due to this delay, we missed our breakfast, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, the room initially allotted to us had air conditioning issues. Although the room was changed upon complaint, the new room did not have a balcony, despite our original booking being for a balcony room. This downgrade further impacted our stay. To add to the dissatisfaction, we noticed cockroaches in the room, which is unacceptable for a 5-star property. The dining experience was also underwhelming, as the restaurant manager was not accommodating when we requested additional starter options beyond the limited offering of aloo tikki. Overall, the combination of these issues made our stay unpleasant and far below expectations.

Disappointing. Most major amenities not working, property under renovation and lot of noise due to renovation work. Not the std expected from 5* property. Had complained to front desk face to face and also to novotel via WhatsApp but no resolution was provided. We were asked by front desk to use shuttle to its another novotel property in candolim goa for using swimming pool. When we tried to avail shuttle to the other novotel property for taking kids for swimming, we were told by parking staff that it would be a significant 15 to 30 min wait. If .major amenities are not available the hotel should have informed us well before hand prior to our visit and given option to shift to other novotel property. I stayed in radisson for 2 days during same goa trip and there is no comparison in terms of customer friendliness and value for money paid. Radisson was way better by a long distance.

If the hotel is under renovation why are you allowing guests to stay at the hotel. The noise and disturbance during the whole day and no pool available to the guests makes no sense for guests. On top of that the Ac was shut off for one of the whole day and kept shutting off in the night as well? How do you expect the guests to sleep at night without ac in this heat?
