I stayed at Novotel Resort and Spa for 5 days for a conference held in the same hotel. The plus points of this hotel are its good location in Candolim, clean and adequate rooms, and friendly staff. I had accidentally booked myself in another Novotel nearby, but the staff quickly transferred me to this one. However, there were some hitches. After complaining twice about tobacco smell in my room, the staff "cleaned" it – by simply spraying an overpowering freshener! I kept the windows open all day to get the freshener out (didn't need tha a/c in December). My major complaint, for a hotel that claims to be 4*, is that the food was below par. The breakfast buffet was decent, but lunch and dinner were unremarkable. The only vegetarion dishes on most days was paneer, and the non-veg was passable. Overall, a decent hotel.

recently stayed at Novotel Goa, marking my second visit to the property. While I have previously had a positive experience, this stay unfortunately did not meet the standards I had come to expect. Despite being a Gold member and a returning guest, there was no acknowledgment of my loyalty status, and I was asked if this was my first time in Goa. No associated benefits or recognition were extended, which was disappointing and felt impersonal. Additionally, the pillows provided in the room were dusty, leading to severe allergies throughout the night. This is a significant concern, particularly with regard to guest comfort and hygiene standards. That said, I would like to commend a few team members who truly stood out and positively impacted my stay: Pamai from the lunch restaurant was kind, attentive, and cheerful, delivering excellent service. Francis and Melroy were absolute stars. Their proactive approach, thoughtful local recommendations, and ability to anticipate and address requests elevated the overall resort experience. They truly embodied hospitality at its best. Sanjeev, the Bell Boy, was helpful, polite, and professional. While these individuals upheld the brand’s service values, the overall management oversight and quality of experience appeared to have declined when compared to my previous stay. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I believe Novotel Goa has the potential to deliver far better consistency and guest recognition, especially for loyal members. I look forward to seeing these concerns addressed and to a much-improved experience on a future visit.

What an amazing trip! All thanks to the lovely staff members! It is the employees who make or break a property. The management is doing something right by employing such pleasant people. Starting with Ms. Mandavi on front desk, she treated us with respect and kindness. Could not have helped us more. Brilliant personal touch by her. Mr. Ashwin from the concierge was always ready to lend a hand whenever needed. A lovely man! Later on, we were met with Mr. Abhishek. He made sure that the remainder of our stay was more than memorable. Kept checking in on us and offered assistance whenever possible. All in all, the best part of this hotel are these amazing, hardworking people. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. P.s: A special shout out to Mr. Abhishek. If you ever visit, make sure to meet him for a pleasant conversation!
