The location is bang on if you want to explore Panjim and fontainhas area- proximity to good restaurants and bars in the area is convenient. The hospitality is mostly very warm with the exception of their security head James who had the most defensive body language and rude tone when we inquired about the scratches on our car which might have happened at the hotel after our check in. With the exception of this particular staff member, everyone else was warm and helpful. The room interiors are beautiful and the bathroom is the best designed in terms of use of space and general layout. The breakfast spread was vast but the taste was not up the mark- maybe a bad day. The only issue with this hotel is the casino- the crowd is terrible and the entry is from the main hotel lobby which makes the experience a bit unsafe for women- they should have a back entrance for the casino for the comfort of hotel guests.

Overall the experience was amazing. The room and the amenities provided were top notch. However we noticed there was some leakage from the ceiling in the toilet right above the commode.

This hotel is an incredible gem. For a Novotel, where you generally expect to find the same type of decor, room layout, and services, this one is far above average. Even though the neighborhood seems to be primarily a business district, the hotel remains welcoming, with a well-positioned pool, sun loungers, and no street noise. The room I was given on the 5th floor was beautifully decorated, cozy, with a balcony sheltered by a screen of plants. The bar on the 1st floor overlooking the pool is also a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the benefits of the voucher received upon arrival. Even a small Casino ! The staff is incredibly attentive, regardless of their role. 🙏 In short, a truly fantastic experience, exceeding the European standard. We don't feel like customers, but guests.
