I had a truly wonderful stay at Grand Mercure Goa Candolim. The property is beautifully designed, very peaceful, and perfectly located, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy Goa. The entire staff was extremely courteous, helpful, and generous throughout my stay. Their hospitality made the experience even more special and comfortable. The food was absolutely amazing, especially the breakfast spread, which had a wide variety of delicious options every morning. The F&B service was also excellent, with prompt and attentive service at all times. Another highlight was the high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity, which worked perfectly across the entire property. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and a memorable time at the hotel. Thank you to the entire team at Grand Mercure Goa Candolim for the wonderful hospitality and for making my stay so enjoyable. I would definitely love to visit again!

We had a very disappointing stay at the property. To begin with, our check-in experience was terrible. We reached the property around 1 pm and the first room we were given was dirty (bed linen and sofa). We were promptly asked if we wanted a different room. But guess what, the next room was even far worse. There were multiple stains on the bed sheet, the curtains had literal molding. This then turned into a 4-hour ordeal where every room that was being shown to us had cleanliness issues. Despite multiple follow ups, the staff at the reception was unable to resolve our issue and were completely helpless because they probably didn't have the authority to take certain decisions as the assistant manager was on leave. At 5:30 pm we were finally given a room which had clean linen. We took it out of frustration because half of our day was wasted. Only upon returning did we realize that the bathtub had several stains. But we couldn't then bother to complain about it and ended up not using the bathtub. When we came back, the staff as a gesture just left some fruits and ONE single pastry in the room. Mind you, we were a couple. Even beyond that, there was no note or no one from the reception tried to speak with us later for the earlier issue. It was simply like, here's some free fruits and one pastry, make of that what you will. We obviously didn't consume any of it. Then next day before stepping out of the property at 12:30 pm, we asked the reception to get the room cleaned. We came back at 4:30 pm to find the room was being cleaned now and that it would take another 20 minutes. This added to our overall frustration. 4 hours is more than enough to get a room cleaned but that wasn't the case. Our evening again got wasted waiting to get access to the room before we could step out again for sundowner. The staff as usual had nothing to say. The breakfast spread was just okay and so was the taste. The staff was missing up orders, and we noticed that happening across tables. And mind you, this was before 8 am when there wasn't even a rush. Another incident was when we gave our valet ticket to staff but because the valet wasn't available, someone from the staff instead told us that we will have to find and get our car ourselves because the valet has gone somewhere. All in all, I will not come back to this property and will suggest my friends the same. This is not an experience one should get in a 5-star property.

Had an absolutely incredible stay at Grand Mercure Goa Candolim! Everything about the experience exceeded expectations—from the genuinely warm hospitality to the beautifully maintained and serene property. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every moment felt special, always attentive and welcoming with a smile. The rooms were a standout highlight—spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The plush bedding and peaceful ambiance made it so easy to relax and truly unwind after a day out. The amenities were top-notch, and every detail felt carefully curated to enhance the guest experience. The Wi-Fi was excellent—fast, reliable, and worked well everywhere, both inside and outside. Whether in the room or by the pool, staying connected was easy The food was equally impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious options that catered to every taste. The pool area and common spaces were well-kept and inviting, perfect for both relaxation and spending quality time. Overall, it was a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and hospitality. Easily one of the best stays I’ve had, and I would return in a heartbeat!

We had booked a family suite with jacuzzi for 3 days. Also booked AirPort pick up and drop with the hotel. There was no communication from the travel desk till the last day. I called them twice a day before travel. He said he is busy and call me back after sometime but didn’t call. I made alternative travel arrangements. But I got a call from him when I was boarding the flight…he didn’t have any idea about my flight timing. I had to go unnecessary anxiety because of the callous attitude of the staff. Same thing happened during return also. They never bothered to arrange taxi. I had to go and remind them 2 hours before my check out. Pls do not book travel with them. They charge more but give pathetic service. The swimming pool was good but there was nobody to supervise. Kids were jumping into pool without any clothes. Adults didn’t wear any proper swimsuits. Staff was serving liquor without bothering to remind guests about swimming pool rules. I complained to the receptionist but they were least bothered about it. Never went for swimming after that. Room service was also not great. We had to call them multiple times. May be staff shortage. Not many in house activities in the resort. Reception staff could be little more responsive and polite. Good things- Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good. Restaurant staff were really good and gave us the great service. Spa was also good. Staff were very professional.
