I was given the stay at your hotel as a gift and cannot be more grateful as I was satisfied. For my needs perfect location close to Palm Jumeriah, beach, mall and even Palm Jumeriah Monorail station is close. The room was kept tidy and clean , very pleasent and hlepful personel. Pitty I didn’t mannage to use a nearby beach or swimming pool at the top of the building. Nice and cool stroll along The West beach in the evening wit many venues to enjoy.

After a bit of a rocky start to check in, we had a great stay at The Adagio! Very clean, the service was prompt and all staff were readily available... especially to Abu - who always greeted us with a smile on this face every morning and every time we came back to the hotel. I was sad when I realised the hotel was not on West beach as it looked to be but finally could enjoy a long stay because of quietness of the neighbourhood on the side of the hotel I stayed. So many building works in Dubai!

The first serious issue happened the day after arrival. We were unhappy with our room and also with the exchange rate we had paid, so we asked at reception if there was anything they could do for us or any alternative they could offer. Instead of honestly trying to help, they tried to “sell” us a standard promotion from the Accor app as if it were a special deal just for us. This felt very dishonest and really damaged our trust in the staff from the start. Housekeeping was also a big problem. Several times we asked if they could clean the room “in 5 minutes”; they always smiled and said “yes, of course”, but in reality they often came only in the evening when we had already returned to the room. This happened on about half of the days during our 11-day stay and was very inconvenient. The bathroom situation was the worst part. The water in the shower is either boiling hot or very cold, with very poor water pressure – it is almost impossible to wash long hair properly. There were also drainage issues: the water does not drain normally, and even though we reported this, nobody ever fixed it. You have to shower very quickly, otherwise the whole bathroom starts flooding. Overall, we expected a much better level of service and comfort from this property and would not choose to stay here again.
