The room was just as to be expected . Quite small and unfortunately the heating was too high resulting in very dry air that had a negative influence on the quality of my sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Service in the restaurant was good and the breakfast of very good quality. Overall atmosphere in the hotel was a bit "spooky" as the hotel was almosty empty ( not much you can do about that of course)

Incredible location but lack of service

We had had several unpleasant situations with the room service and some waiters, two of situations were even totally rude and unwarrantable for Fairmont hotel standards, but receptionists solved them in a good way. Concierge service was almost unreachable, once we had been waiting for someone to appear for 20 minutes.

We stayed at the Fairmont to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and were not disappointed! On the contrary. Room, food, service, everything was what we hoped for. A special mention goes to Maxime at the front desk who went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel "at home". Well done!

This was our 4th time staying at the Montreux Palace and even in these unprecedented times we did not feel we lacked anything while staying there. Everything was done to perfection. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the view was spectacular, the food delicious, and the room was fabulous. I never wanted to leave!

I wasn’t apart of the elite class so I didn’t get the service. I wasn’t offered the Christmas specials, Christmas dinners, Christmas breakfast or nothing. Please don’t pay the very expensive price for zero service unless you’re willing to pay $8 for a bottle of water.

We couldn't enjoy the spa because of the new covid measures. We ask for help, and received it, everything had a price. Good Christmas decoration. Beautiful room.

I enjoyed the Spa and hotel service. Unfortunately, my second night was not ok as we could not sleep due to a permanent noise (got the feeling that my room # 523 was not isolated). Noise came from another room but the staff could not identify it. The lady who was at the reception for my checkout, asked me about my stay. My answer was that it was not very good. She just said « sorry to hear that » and did not try to ask more questions to understand how this could be improved in the future (at least for other customers who would experience the same). We had 3 nights recently (just before Christmas) and everything was brilliant. From the minute we arrived with our bags being immediately dealt with, to the last day, everything was so cool. This hotel is timeless and its my second visit but I still cant fault a thing.

Housekeeping was so loud in the afternoon we could not sleep (I have videos) Staff not consistently wearing masks appropriately (under nose, removing mask to sneeze etc) In room breakfast was just average (eggs were cold, bland and overcooked) Invoice was not sent, had to chase. I’m not even sure my Accor number was credited. We have been coming for many many years, since 2003. Unfortunately really our worst experience. Welcome chocolates were nice. I would like someone from the hotel to contact me

The staff at the Fairmont could not have been more helpful and accommodating, providing great recommendations for places to visit, help figuring out the bus line, and even telling us about the Kids Corner they offer every morning so that parents can enjoy some quiet time while the kids have fun under the supervision of a Hotel Employee. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the view of the mountains & Lake Geneva from our room was stunning. We've lived in Europe for ten years, and have travelled a lot in that time. This hotel is easily one of the best we've ever stayed at, and if we're ever back in Montreux, there's no question the Fairmount is where we will stay.
