When I first arrived, I was terribly ill with food poisoning. The hotel staff graciously prioritized my check-in, and insured that I was comfortable and had everything that I needed to rest and recover. The rooms were so fabulous — the hotel was exquisite. Staff appeared to enjoy offering hospitality— unlike many others where I’ve stayed (all at this level) during my travels. This exceptional property is one I will return to. What a very special stay!

Fabulous hotel, we have been returning here for fourth time. Great location, impressive building with period common areas. Regrettably the room quality is not consistent and in our case neither matched the photos on their website nor was it fully functional (shower hot/warm temperature, some power outlets in room not working, decoration of room totally different than on website). We were also missing a porter service to pick up our luggage at the next door train station, something common in other Swiss hotels of this standing. Despite this, restaurants were very god and commendable.

The hotel is overall very pleasant and we had a great stay. The staff was very helpful from minute one, and highly attentive to our needs. In that sense, it is a 10/10. Some other notes: The rooms are nice but dated. For example, the phones are really old and our did not work. The gym is great, but you need to but on booties to get there. Just a strange and inefficient experience. Othwerwise, good stay!
