We had a lovely stay at Fairmont hotel. The room was very good with comfortable beds and every day room service. Our room had garden view and we had troubles with the mosquitos while sitting on the terrace. We did buy mosquito repellent but maybe the hotel staff may take this into consideration and attend to the garden in this sense.

Stayed with the Fairmont in Monte Carlo for a company event, for 4 nights. My car was safely parked by the vallet, who were always eager to help me whenever I was arriving/leaving. Restaurant and facility staff very kind, knowledgable about the facilities and multi-lingual. Overall, I could not have imagined a better place to stay.
Only point is that the wellness is smaller than my closet, which is always a relevant factor for me. The sheer amount of rooms all filled could not fit in the wellness even if it was 100x as big.

Hotel was great, only one disappointment and that was the ridiculous wardrobe. It was impossible to hang anything in it as the room safe was under the hanging rail and huge. Not great when you needed space to hang formal wear. The safe could easily be put on the other side of the closet.

We had a great stay, the only issue we experienced was the room smelt of drains. We did mention this to the gentleman on check out and he phoned through to someone to see if they could offer any reduction in the cost to our stay. However he then just produced the full bill. We had paid through a third party for our trip but had spent quite a lot in the hotel eating in all the restaurants during our stay so a gesture would have been nice.

Le client indique explicitement que son séjour « s'est très bien passé ». Le seul point négatif évoqué concerne une odeur d'égout dans la chambre, signalée à la réception au moment du départ.
Le commentaire se concentre ensuite essentiellement sur l'absence de réduction ou de geste commercial sur la facture finale. Or, une demande de compensation financière ne saurait, à elle seule, justifier une évaluation négative de l'ensemble du séjour, d'autant que le client reconnaît lui-même que son expérience globale s'est très bien déroulée.
Par ailleurs, le fait que le client ait engagé des dépenses importantes dans les restaurants de l'établissement ne constitue pas en soi un motif justifiant l'octroi automatique d'une compensation.
Nous estimons ainsi que la note attribuée est disproportionnée au regard de l'expérience décrite et repose principalement sur une attente de geste commercial, plutôt que sur une appréciation objective de la qualité globale des prestations.

Lovely hotel. Nicely appointed room with a modern bathroom and comfortable beds. Only comment would be the pool didn't feel especially welcoming for someone who just wanted a swim, not to eat or drink.

We had a few issues in the room, when we checked in, we were advised that we should expect some surprises in the room as it was my 50th birthday, however, there were no surprises in the room when we got there. We had to mention to a member of staff and then we had some wonderful gifts, but it was a little embarrassing to ask after check-in had repeatedly said there are surprises in the room. I had also requested a full sea view room, however the sea view was only partial as the main view was a big flat area which appeared to be a roof. We also only had one lounger on the balcony despite two double beds. The steamer was broken, the water reservoir was cracked so I ended up with water all over the floor, my dress, and the seat in the room. This was replaced when we mentioned it. The TV mentioned that you could cast from your devices, which we tried to do repeatedly as there were only 2 English channels, eventually we asked someone who was delivering to the room and he advised us that this does not work. We wasted a lot of time trying to get that to work. The only real issue I found with the room was the lack of lighting. Our floor lamp didn’t work (this was also fixed when we mentioned it) so the light from a few lamps alone didn’t seem enough when we were getting ready to go out, we had to keep using the bathroom for the light. On our first night we had 3 separate people at the door asking if we wanted a turn down service, which we didn’t need, which was a bit excessive as we were trying to get ready to go out. The only other issue was that we booked a taxi to the airport when we were leaving and we were told ‘I’ll put in a request’ which didn’t fill us with confidence that one would arrive, and then we felt we had to go back to the taxi area half an hour early in case we didn’t have one booked, and when we asked they said it was booked but after waiting for half an hour our taxi driver came over and told us he had been sitting there for half an hour also, time we could have spent relaxing at the airport.

The hotel was great, had everything we needed, concierge were very helpful. The only issue was that our television wouldn’t work & we asked concierge & they were going to send someone up but no one arrived. So that’s the only negative

Great hotel, staff and location. However out of the Fairmont I have stayed at; Banff, Ottawa and Toronto, this is the poorest looking room. No tailored products with the logo. Embroidered packaging for tissue and Kleenex etc. it looked non luxurious.
