Overall the stay was good. Small improvements such as providing international adapters for charging. When asked for one I was told "the hotel doesnt do them anymore". I could not charge my phone and had to go out the next day to find one. Common areas are tired and need upgrading. For the pricing of rooms v other local properties they are exceptionally high for the qulity so value for money is lacking.

Dear Fairmont Monaco Management, I would like to share some feedback regarding my recent stay. Overall, my experience was satisfactory, although I believe there is still room for improvement. One aspect I particularly appreciated was the room and bathroom design, which I found very efficient and comfortable. I understand that the lobby restaurant operates under significant pressure and serves a high volume of guests. However, I noticed that some of the senior staff appeared somewhat tense and, on several occasions, the initial interaction focused immediately on asking for the room number and whether we intended to eat or drink. The approach felt less welcoming than expected, especially when compared to some of the younger team members, who were noticeably friendlier and more approachable. I experienced something similar at the breakfast restaurant on the 7th floor. During the first two days, the service at the egg station felt less warm and engaging than expected, although the experience improved during the last two days of my stay. During check-out, I also raised a small housekeeping observation. On the final day, the room service team did not replace the complimentary water bottles, whereas two bottles had been provided daily throughout the stay. When I mentioned this to the cashier, she immediately interrupted and explained that, according to policy, complimentary water is only provided on the first day and any additional bottles are chargeable. While I fully respect hotel policies, I felt the response could have been delivered in a more courteous and customer-focused manner. Overall, the hotel offers many positive aspects, but in my opinion there is still some distance to go in reaching the service standards of some of the leading luxury hotels in the region.
