We received wonderful treatment during our stay at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo. The check-in and out process was top-notch and the room was perfect. We were confused when receiving an email from Accor that we were pre-paid, only to discover that we were not once we arrived at the Fairmont, and the discrepancy between the Accor published price for a pet and that of the hotel (the kind young woman at check-out honored the Accor quote once I emailed the Accor confirmation). Other than those minor bits of confusion, the stay could not have been better.

Like being on the ocean. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the fabulous view/sound of the ocean. It was like being on a cruise ship. The staff were outstanding, the breakfast was fabulous, and the pool area gorgeous. Gym also good. Would definitely visit again.

Everything was pretty good, the room is great, location and staff are nice and understanding. Many thanks to concierge Verena for helping a lot! From minuses I could mention long check in (almost an hour), there were some complications with booking and deposit. Otherwise all good:)

It was my second time at the Fairmont Monte Carlo, and it was a relaxing stay. It was a gift to my parents, and they enjoyed the hotel very much. Staff is also very professional. I like the 70's styling of the hotel very much, the connection with the Monaco Grand Prix and the terrace on top of the hotel with some nice artwork.

Positive: - nice and big room, friendly staff negative: - heavy works in the garden in front of the room, no possibility to open the window or be on the terrace (noise and fumes) - no light on the desk = impossible to work on the desk!

Very disappointing hotel and appalling service

We made a big mistake in choosing this hotel. The first night we ate at the hotel restaurant on the 7th floor. Service was truly appalling even though the bill for two exceeded 300 euro. Breakfast the following morning was more like being at a Butlin's holiday camp than a 4 star. Long queues and once again poor service. Although breakfast was included in the deal we did not return. Our first visit to Monte Carlo was spoiled by the hotel experience. Do visit the car museum though, absolutely fantastic.

A bad experience

Right in the front of the hotel customers may enjoy a huge working place with dragging machine working from early morning to late evening (10.30 pm)! For the price of this hotel this is not acceptable. In the top of that, if you chose Fairmont confirmed by Accor, be aware that your stay doesn't count for your fidelity program. It is a joke!
