the whole experience was amazing, even before I arrived I received emails giving me opportunities to book restaurants et cetera. Check in with Alessandro was professional and extremely friendly, I had arrived early because I wanted to enjoy the Monaco experience for as long as possible and I was given a room early and also upgraded. I was offered either a double queen or a super king bed, he even asked if we had any problems with walking and did we need a room close to the elevators. The whole decor of the hotel is amazing with the carpets throughout carrying the Fairmont signature pattern. My garden view room was better than I could’ve ever dreamed for, the smaller touches just made it a luxury experience, the pillows were actually king size too match the size of the bed, the bath towels were huge and super soft, the room had a new slick modern type of telephone (not like the old fashioned ones) with push buttons for assistance to room service concierge et cetera, even the bath slippers came in two different sizes, usually hotel slippers are far too big for women. The rooftop pool was heated to 30°, I would’ve liked it to open after 5 pm and maybe swim after dark. The hotel is in an amazing location just a three minute walk to casino Square. I can’t criticise the hotel at all, but I can give it some feedback on two things I think could work to ensure a even more luxury experience, one is ice machines, after getting a drink from the mini bar, I would’ve liked some ice in it, my second which no hotels ever seem to do would be to have turbi towels for woman to dry their hair, rather than using a normal towel, I have these at home and use them when I go to the gym, It would just be an extra if you touch the other hotels don’t give, they were just going to the wash along with all the other towels.

We stayed in a hairpin room- absolutely stunning accommodations with a perfect view of the famous F1 turn. We saw many impressive cars taking the turn from our balcony. Love the room and bathroom! Only suggestion - the bed was a bit stiff and the pillows a wee flat. Some may find that comfortable however we prefer more loft.
