unfortunately we were locked out of our room on the last evening due to a card error. we have never had that experience in a 5 star hotel before. we paid in full before arriving and the 800 deposit was used in the hotel along with an extra 600. We probably would not stay again due to this. also had dinner on the last evening and my i could not eat my fillet as it was very tough. it would have been a nice gesture to not charge us for it or offer a desert on the house.

We truly had magnificent time at the Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, both the common areas and the rooms themselves. The staff is exceptional! Everyone was extremely courteous, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.

Hotel is in a great location with nice staff. The only annoyance is the cost of the sun beds at Nikki beach for Hotel guests. There is another pool available with free sunbeds.
