Rooms were nice, though we were told the air conditioning will not go below 20 degrees Celsius. Despite numerous inquiries before arriving, the Nikki pool is in fact not for guests. If you are a guest of the hotel you must stay all the way in the back, where you cannot even see the pool. They treat you like second class citizens. We also made it clear that we had dietary restrictions (kosher) and though they could not accommodate, they would not let us bring our own food to sit poolside, stating that is only for Halal, Gluten Free or allergies. The other pool was nice but minimal seating and similar restrictions.

Traveling with a group of nine multigenerational family members is challenging at its best. Especially when two in the party have the hangries. After trying restaurant recommendations in Google without clear direction, I went to your concierge desk. The young woman who helped me sent us to a local restaurant in easy walking distance. It was the best meal for our family during the entire trip. While the accommodations were very good, so are many hotels. But what made the Fairmont MC stand out above the others was the helpfulness and training of your staff.
