Room was a bit small for three, but we could manage for a stop of just one night. Views from the terrace, though, are wonderful. If you plan to stay more nights, maybe try to book a bigger room.

The hotel was the perfect base for our 1 night stay in Menton! The family room was spacious, air conditioned with comfortable beds and a great shower. The only downside was the parking, we arrived when the carpark was closed and the whole of Menton was choka with nowhere to park. We ended up spending a coulpe of hours in Italy only to return to 1 space which was so tight it was impossible to park and we ended up paying to park at the marina opposite which thankfully had some availability by that time. Other than that the man on Reception was lovely and very helpful. We overall enjoyed our stay x

Pleasent staff but the general state of the hotel is lacking cleanliness in communal areas. The carpets on each floor needed hovering, the lift floor looks like it has never been mopped and the daily price on advised on the hotel board outside was cheaper than we paid in advance.

We were staying by or the night whilst visiting Monaco for the F1. Great location, staff helped us park as our booked carpark we couldn’t get into. If your travelling by car just park at the Marina. No height barrier €20 for 24 hours and secure. It’s straight over the road to the hotel. Great in the beach front and a lovely long promenade into Menton. Lots of restaurants etc. perfect spot for visit g the coast. Train station is straight behind the hotel so easy trip to get too Nice and Monaco etc.

Really nice room and location for price however air conditioning did not work the first couple of nights and Wi-Fi was almost unusable. Would probably stay again but make sure to have lots of mobile data if you need fast internet.

Stayed here for a few nights during a trip to Menton and overall it was very good value for money in a great location. The hotel is less than 5 minutes’ walk from Menton Garavan station, which made getting around really easy. The reception staff member I dealt with was always friendly, pleasant and very helpful. Reception itself is unmanned from 9pm until 6am, with access to both the hotel and rooms via a code system printed out on arrival. That worked fine for me, although I’m not completely convinced it would be ideal if there was an issue overnight. I stayed in a sea-facing room. The room itself was okay and the bed was comfortable, although parts of the bathroom were looking a bit tired. The pillows definitely need replaced as they were very lumpy and not especially comfortable. The balcony/patio area was nice enough, although some photos seem to show tables outside and mine didn’t have one. I did find a footstool that worked as a makeshift table though. One issue was the air conditioning. The remote control had apparently been stolen by a previous guest. To be fair, the receptionist did manage to find another one, but it meant I had to go down to reception any time I wanted to adjust the temperature. The hotel really needs some sort of fixed wall control system instead. The biggest downside was noise from doors slamming. This was a major issue on the third floor and I know someone staying on the ground floor experienced the same thing. The door closers pull the doors shut very aggressively, and because the hotel has lots of hard surfaces, the noise echoes badly through the corridors and rooms. It woke me up several times during the night, which was disappointing. Breakfast was actually better than most Ibis Budget hotels I’ve stayed in. There was a decent selection including bacon, scrambled egg, pancake machines, croissants, yoghurts and cereals. Nothing luxury, but definitely good for the price paid. Overall, I’d happily stay again because the location and value for money are hard to beat. If they sorted the door slamming, refreshed the pillows and improved the air conditioning controls, it would make a big difference. Next time though, I’ll definitely be bringing earplugs.
