The room had a dripping noise which sounded like it was coming from the room upstairs, then construction works outside (taking place in the early hours) which I had not been notified about. Tried to raise the concern upon checkout, it was not dealt with at that point, the receptionist said the Duty Manage would contact me, he did not, I had to contact them. The hotels management is not interested in sorting out your concern, only taking your money and that the challenge is yours not theirs and expect you to continue to book into the Novotel Monte Carlo, I would not recommend this hotel, nor Novotel on this basis, despite having been a customer for 30 years. I and my Family who are now adults, will no longer use Novotel or Accor after this very poor experience, which was not handled well.

There was an error with my booking, the approach to sorting it out and the result was unsatisfactory and costly. The error was partly my fault for not checking the booking carefully which I accept. The manager would not engage in a direct conversation to discuss the issue. As a result my stay has been spoilt

I was really disappointed with my stay at a hotel chain that usually delivers. I was attending a conference but found my shower was not working on the first morning. I also needed to press my clothes but was told the hotel had run out of irons and ironing boards. The bed was also incredibly uncomfortable and I have left with severe back pain.

The room was fine if a bit worn. The breakfast and front desk service were quite good. Three problems. (1) The fitness center is sad and inadequate, an I ended up identifying and walking back and forth to Hercule every day. (2) One day I came back and needed to shower and go to my meetings and MY SHOWER WAS NOT WORKING. Business people need to be able to rely on the fact that they can be groomed! I ran to the fitness shower and there was no warm water. I ended up having to take a miserable and cold shower and to be late to my meeting to boot. (3) The location relative to my meetings was painful--for RVS attendees you should allow entry at the lower level to alleviate the hot and sweaty hike up the last stretch of the street from the Hermitage.

The room was fine and well-cleaned. But a few niggles. The pillows weren't very comfortable. There was no black tea available in the room (British travellers like a good cup of morning tea before breakfast!). The teabags at breakfast were poor quality, and though leaf tea was provided there was no facility to make a pot of tea. The shampoo container in the bathroom appeared to be filled with shower gel - not having proper shampoo is really irksome. On the plus side, the breakfast food was excellent and all your staff were very friendly and helpful - my thanks to them.

I had a nice stay and the staff were nice and helpful. I did however ruin an expensive shirt as a used one of you iron to get ready before I had to go out for a big wedding celebration. Maybe check the irons you have in store - or at least the one I lent for room 647.

I am regular at this hotel, either with my wife or my 94 years old mum. Obviously location is great, rooms are comfy, and for Monaco it is still a good value hotel. During all my stays, I never had a bad noise experience, so either guests are civilized and/or soundproofing is quite good. A particular mention for staff (and cooks) at reception, and especially at restaurant. We always love to take our breakfasts and quite many meals there, which are very delicious, and staff has now adopted us in their family, they are most friendly, remember us and offer the friendliest service we could hope for.

We were not satisfied this time. The reasons are as follows: the rooms with balconies had been booked and confirmed over six months ago via the Arcor app under the name Hermann L., yet the hotel's internal reservation was listed under Christoph Kammerer. There was no record of the booking under my name at the hotel. Ultimately, we were given one room without a balcony (despite having paid a surcharge) and one accessible room with a balcony. I do not consider this acceptable service.
