one night stay with several issues

there has been a firealarm at 5am in the morning and we had to leave the building. I honestly would have expected a discount or some kind of apology or compensation for this. I ordered room service for dinner served at 20:30. The delivery arrived at 19:50 and since I couldn't it it got cold. again no discount or compensation for this despite I asked for it. Hairdryer in the room wasn't working

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations and that the fire alarm tarnished your stay. The safety of our guests is our first concern and we do take this very seriously. When there is an alarm, our team if solely focused on your security and after investigation, the fire brigade was called to assess the issue in an electric power room of the hotel. They had to survey the whole room with thermal cameras to ensure it was safe to go back in the building, hence the lengthy process. I am sorry you felt waiting outside was innapropriate, however this is the security protocol until we have the go ahead from the fire brigade to re-enter the building. We did not offer compensation as this is a security matter and I am grateful there was no fire and that all security protocols were adhered to to ensure your safety. With regards to your dinner, you placed the order at 19.49pm for a caesar salad and a coke. I do apologise if this arrived slightly early, but I doubt the delivery was by your door the minute you placed the order. As to eating cold, I believe our Caesar salad is served cold. I have had my maintenance team replace the hair dryer. thank your for pointing it out. I remain at your disposal for further information and would be happy to assist with your next reservations. I had a wonderful stay, the hotel is extremely open and airy, well designed and the staff were extremely professional. Mathieu the Reservations manager personally greeted us on arrival and was so friendly and helpful. Perfect choice of hotel, it ticks all the boxes.

Horrible fire alarm experience

Fire alarm altered my child so much. He did not sleep after the incident. It was extremely uncomfortable to rush a 6 month baby outside at 5am. The fire alarm noise was so loud in the room. It was frightening. I did not appreciate that you did not offer compensation of that whole night. We did not rest and there was no fire.

Great as always. Love the location and it's very reasonable for Monaco. I had a busy morning with an early meeting and when I came back at about 10.15 it wasn't possible on a beautiful morning to sit outside and have a coffee - I had no time to go anywhere else before leaving. Bit of a downer that.

I did have to move rooms when I arrived since mine had had a smoker in it before me. And 2 single beds (I was travelling alone). And was in the basement! But staff dealt with this quickly and put me on the 7th floor, also in a room with a nice private terrace. Room Service has run out of the soup I wanted but they brought me some complimentary bread. And then a bottle of champagne appeared!

Friendly staff, very efficient and professional. Rooms were clean, food was excellent. Meagan Murphy from Front Desk was absolutely brilliant assisting my PA with all my requirements and needs during my stay. Overall the staff is very efficient and reliable.

Excellent rooms, bathrooms, clean, nice views. Staff ALL very polite and welcoming. VERY clean, plenty of hand sanitizers around.

Ran out of food in the bar. Bed mattress old , as were pillows. Very tired hotel.

I will preface this by saying that we were there during a very high demand weekend in Monaco so prices would certainly reflect, that but we paid $1700 per night for 3 nights at this Novotel. All other hotel were fully booked. Initially, our reservation could not be found which scared the living daylights out of us but they somehow managed to find us a top floor corner unit room that turned out be pretty well situated. However, for the price paid, the furnishings and amenities in the room were pretty substandard. Patio had pillows and furniture strewn about. No water bottles left for us, though a Nespresso machine was made available. Only paper cups to drink out of. All in all not terrible, but would expect more from a hotel in Monte Carlo and especially, at that price point.

Tried to push me into every kind of additional services. They charges me for a 4 kilo and 17 year old dog who only wanted to sleep 20 Euros per night for nothing, Noise from the construction site at 8 am on a holiday, the gym low level

The most important for me is clean and quiet. The moment I arrived the people were efficient and I was able to go straight to my room. I knew the room so no surprise for me. The TV is nice and big and the bathroom is nice and clean. All good.

We stayed only 1 night but enjoyed the breakfast and the location. It's easy to reach by car and next to a public parking. Hotel has special rate but makes sense if you stay more than a day. Otherwise, hourly public rate is cheaper up to 24 hours. The rooms though a bit old yet clean as expected.

Pay a fee for valet. Leave next morning- told to go to basement to pick up our car. We are handicapped, had to carry our luggage and in basement, walk up some stairs. Why do they have the service? Why do I have to pay for a bad service? First thing in the morning I was met with rudeness!

During the stay, I stayed unhappy due to the following reasons: the furniture was not in a good condition in the room, also I did not receive a welcome drink upon arrival according to my silver status... The breakfast quality good be improved, I doubt that seeing the staff in front of me chewing and eating is normal...

Around 10 years' after our first stay in this hotel it still delivers excellent comfort, service and vacation feeling! Good restaurant, great pool and very nice ambiance. Close to Monaco's all attractions and beach.
