I’m an avid traveler, and the two things I believe every hotel room should provide are a comfortable night’s sleep and a great shower. Novotel’s location is excellent, but unfortunately my room did not meet basic comfort expectations. Even after running the air conditioning at the lowest temperature for 6–8 hours, the room never became comfortably cool. I requested a fan to help improve air circulation, but that request was never fulfilled. The staff was courteous, and the location is hard to beat, but it’s difficult to overlook the lack of a cool, comfortable sleeping environment. I hope the hotel addresses these issues, as they significantly impacted an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Had a terrible experience checking out. Was continually accused, in front of other guests, of not having paid my breakfast bills, even after showing the receptionist, my booking form, booking receipt AND personal bank accounts the receptionist still insisted I had not paid. On returning home I asked the hotel to confirm what payments had been taken out of my account, I am still awaiting a reply.

Close to the train station. Excellent staff and service. The staff had our room set up early and the extra items I requested were already there. Reception was very help in understanding how to get around town and calling a taxi for us. They even Google mapped exactly how to get to the elevator at the train station which is not obvious from any map we could find. We could not have been more pleased with the experience. Thank you!
