Awful mattress experience.

I have stayed here several times for business reasons (would never stay here privately). New this year is a sort of anti-leakage plastic matress cover. I noticed it because of the crackling noise, and the fact that it does not ‘breathe’. Although the room is not hot, the plastic cover makes you waking up bathing in sweat. My colleagues were complaining too, and even removed the plastic cover. It was horrible!

Big room, very central location. An espresso machine and iron facilities would be a plus at the room .

Nice hotel, nice breakfast, very good location. Very helpful staff. They charged a deposit fee of 960euros in my case , which some people may not like. For me it was ok

Grumpy staff

Your staff were very grumpy. The bar staff were rude and grumpy. The restaurant staff were unfriendly. I phoned Reception to ask for an iron and they literally threw it at my door. I don’t normally bother to fill in these forms, but the rudeness of several of the people who work for you stood out massively

Got bit marks from bed bugs

We promptly investigated the room you stayed in for any signs of bed bugs, and I am pleased to inform you that we found no evidence of this issue. It is possible that your window was left open, allowing some mosquitoes to enter. Being situated on the coast, we do occasionally experience mosquitoes, especially during rainy periods. Please rest assured that we regularly apply anti-mosquito treatments and thoroughly clean our rooms. Additionally, our linens are washed meticulously, and mattresses are dry cleaned externally, in line with our health and safety procedures, to ensure that our guests receive the best service possible. That said, I sincerely apologize that the cleanliness of your room did not meet your expectations. I have sent you an email on this regard. I encourage you to contact our reception team immediately during your stay if you find any aspect of your room unsatisfactory; we will do our utmost to provide you with an immediate alternative. We have already taken action to address the concerns you raised.
