We stayed at Novotel Monte Carlo for three nights and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendliest staff and checked in quickly, which set the tone for a great stay. One of the highlights was the location. Since we traveled to Monaco by train, it was incredibly convenient that the station was just a short walk away, making it easy to manage our luggage. The hotel also felt very central, with everywhere we wanted to visit within walking distance, including the Casino and the Prince’s Palace. Highly recommended!

We loved the location and our room was comfortable. The staff were attentive, especially when my husband was feeling ill.

After 20 years of being Monaco resident, now tried the hotel few times as a guest. It is well located, the staff is super helpful, polite and kind. I though think that it should be repainted from the inside, including the common areas, but mostly the rooms and to change the curtains etc. A plain colour to the wall and nicer curtains, no need that weird wall paint decoration of palms. The room cupboard is weird and looses a lot of space. So overall refresh in the rooms is needed. And the hallways rugs too look dirty and old. But the worse is paper cups in the rooms. Can put even Ikea's real cups in the rooms and it would be fantastic as the paper cups do not hold water or tea well. Also, the room cleaning is so so, not sure if each day they cleaned the floor as could see yet dark hair after my stay and it wasn't mine. The high light standing was not straight and my sister tried to fixed it and saw a huge dust on to of it. So, more precise cleaning is needed. Put real glasses and big tea mugs in the rooms. Repaint and refresh the rooms. Minimalist modern as stile costs less, but does miracle. The beds were good and large.

Staying at the Novotel they did not communicate with us but we found out the hotel had the water shut off all night and until 6:00 the next morning one day it was very cold everywhere. The service in the bar was terrible food that was ordered just never got delivered meals that were ordered at the same time did not come at the same time they did not know how to make even the most basic of cocktails. Room service was not functional and we were told even if it was it was all microwaved food. I brought leftovers back to the room but the rooms do not have a microwave or silverware to eat the leftover food with. While eating breakfast the double doors to the outside whipped open when it was in the 40s outside and they could not close them saying it was some kind of test. We had to get up mid meal and move as it was freezing cold. The concierge could not assist us in getting food delivered and repeatedly we went to bed hungry. The wallpaper on the columns in the bar was peeling off and the floors were in a serious state of disrepair. The room was pleasant and the bed was comfortable.

Great value for money being one of the cheaper places to stay in Monaco. Ideally situated 5 mins walk from the main train station with a bus stop servicing numerous buses frequently 2 mins (if that) walk from the hotel.
