We stayed for a second time and received a warm welcome from Herve’. The room was very nice with a balcony which overlooks the swimming pool and gardens. The restaurant is airy and you have the opportunity to dine outside which is nice. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Location not too far from centre,15 minute walk. Rooms comfortable and air-con works a treat especially as it was around 40 degrees whilst there! Pool area very busy at times. The few tarmac car parking spaces in front of hotel always full and the large car park to the side is only covered in very thick gravel making it difficult to drag cases. All staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant menu fairly comprehensive as no other places close by. Food was well presented and tasty.

We arrived at the hotel and the room we were given didn’t have a shower and was given another room with one . It was an extremely hot evening and when we returned from dinner we selected the lowest temperature , 21 c and went to sleep , we then woke up at 2 am sweating and found the temp to be at 25.5 c . We opened the window , which let mosquitos in and it was cooler outside than it was inside !! . Had to have a shower to cool down and then in the morning we reported it to the manager and he refused to refund us the room for that night and as we were booked for another night he then offered us another room with working air conditioning but he described it and an upgrade , the room was smelly but as we were busy and didn’t want to hang about we decided to keep it . We demanded a free breakfast for our troubles and left it at that . The hotel itself is well positioned for access to Castres but requires some refurbishment and updating , cracks in walls and paintwork needs attention .

Room is adequate, bed OK. Lights are not well configured. Switch the light on by the room door the whole room lights up. But you need the light to find the bathroom switch. So you wake up anyone else in the room. Spa was closed, we were not told before booking. The air con is switched off at around 9AM. You have to call to have it put back on. Not really fair for the people who clean the rooms. They swelter in heat but the rest of the staff nice and cool and not doing any physical work. Pretty poor by the managers not caring about the room maids that have physical work to do. But there again, typical management!!!!

Very pleasant, helpful staff. Surprised that paper/plastic cups were provided in the room, not glasses or cups. Appreciated the kettle. Had to ask reception to change "climat" settings in room. Even then, a bit temperamental
