Housed in an 18th century water mill that was also once a pasta factory for the Soleil brand, Mercure Albi Bastides will fascinate you with its porch and brick façade. A listed historical monument with renovated interiors, our hotel in Albi has two meeting rooms for your events. The bar serves local Gaillac wine and beers, and our restaurant with a terrace offers panoramic views of the city. Located on the bank of Tarn river, next to the Lapérouse Museum and opposite the Cité Episcopale, our hotel in Albi is an 8-minute walk from the historic city centre. Cross the Pont Vieux to the other side of the river, where you will find the Sainte cathedral, Toulouse-Lautrec museum, Saint-Salvy cloister and Palais de la Berbie. Thanks to our rental e-bikes, you can also enjoy cycling along the Tarn or in the Pratgraussals outdoor activities centre.

Located in the centre of Albi, on the banks of the river Tarn and close to the Pont Neuf, the Mercure Albi Bastides is the ideal place from which to explore the Palais de la Berbie, the Toulouse-Lautrec museum and the enchanting mediaeval districts.

We had a very nice stay, we booked a high floor, it was a bit disappointing because the window for the view is smaller, and we thought a high floor will give a better view. The airco in both rooms was not working a it should. so it was to warm to sleep. But we had a lovely diner in the evening and a good breakfast. (make sure there are no flies on the breakfast, it is a little bit more tasteful. One fly crawled out under the chicken filled. bah. The view from the terrace is great and the city is lovely.

We stayed here for the first night of our wedding anniversary 'road trip' through France & Spain. The hôtel is easy to find with ample free parking and well located within easy reach of local attractions. We had booked a Privilege Room with a wonderful view of the river and the town. The room was reasonably large equipped with all the necessary amenities. Because we had travelled a few hours from our home in France, we decided to eat in the hôtel restaurant, whilst it is not haute cuisine, it was more than acceptable for our needs.
