Loved our stay at this hotel. First, the location, right on the River Tarne, with walking distance to the town centre and the magnificent Ste Cecile Cathedral. Very scenic location, and loved listening to the river. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with Nespresso coffee maker in the room. The breakfast was copious, lots of choices with varieties of Nespresso coffees available. Bonus that we didn't have to pay for parking either, maybe because it was off season. We really loved the stay and will probably come back to stay again.

This hotel is well situated for a great view of the St. Cecile cathedral. The breakfast is excellent, with a diverse choice of protein, fruits, and beverages. We also dined one evening and had an excellent dinner. The staff are superb. Our quibble is from the rooms themselves. While we are used to smaller rooms, the rooms here could use updating. I've stayed in several Mercure hotels, most recently at the one in St. Lary-Soulan, and the rooms at this Albi hotel need to be modernized.

Very good hotel, excellent location and in very good condition. Staff were attentive and polite. On the other hand, the main courses at dinner were badly prepared e.g. over-cooked salmon.
