Hotel was lovely, perfect for our 2 night stay. Great location for short walk to Castle, all staff very pleasant but Yousia & Julien both amazing and very helpful throughout our stay. Room was great for family of 4 and could comfortably take family of 5. We didnt have time to use the outdoor swimming pool or the games in Reception.

We loved our stay at Ibis Carcassonne! It's beautifully decorated, well located ... blah blah ... blah ... but that's not why we loved it. We loved it because of the gorgeous staff ... in particular the Spanish receptionist. She was kind and attentive and helpful. She epitomizes what hospitality is all about! She tried to meet our every need ... reassured us that our precious bikes were safe in the locked storeroom, gave us a room overlooking the pool because we are Accord members, told us when to avoid the crowds at breakfast and helped me book a hairdresser's appointment. She smiled warmly everytime we saw her and made us feel at home. In New Zealand there is a Moari saying "Māku e kiwiatu, he tangata, he tangata, he tangata" which means ... What is the most important thing in the world? Well let me tell you, it is people, it is people, it is people. And what made Ibis Carcassonne memorable was the Spanish receptionist!

It was great… the guy on reception in the morning was particularly good, he gave us advice of where to go & showed us how to get there on the map. The food was great too, the only downside was the pillows, there were really flat & despite asking for an extra one twice, the first night I ended up putting towels & clothes beneath the one I had to try to get comfortable, I got a second pillow the next day.
