Dear Ibis, we did have a lovely stay in your well located, very friendly and accommodating staffed hotel. However, we did have to deduct 2 points from the score as unfortunately the A/C was not working during our 7 night stay. The ladies on the desk came to the room in an effort to check the A/C and said they'd have maintenance look into it. The person on the desk in the evening told us, that's it's a law in France, that A/C does not have to be provided after October 1st, due to energy saving. I was immediately offered a fan by the staff (without asking). It was 22 degrees for our stay, so we did need it - no rain or storms, we were very lucky. The rooms seem a little small at first, but they are very clean and well maintained. Would we come back to this hotel on our next stay? yes, definitely. Thank you.

No Air Conditioning

We stayed for one night in October when the outside temperature was over 25 C. The air conditioning in the room was not working and given the limited ventilation led to a room temperature of 30 c. We asked at reception for the air conditioning to be turned on and they said it was policy not to put air conditioning on in October and offered no alternative means of cooling eg a fan.
