Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable room though small. Good value considering location near to major tourist attraction. Small, cramped breakfast room, breakfast adequate, reasonable but not good quality and not as good as other Ibis Budgets I have stayed in. Overall clean but some area in need of update to brand standard. Location suited me and has secure car park. Small annoyances for me such as shower too high. Unlikely to stay there again but would if no better choice.!

We stayed here overnight, on route south, the room was small but fine for the 2 of us, all clean. Liked the free secure parking to the rear as we had bikes on the car. Breakfast had good choice, and well stocked, the eating area is not large but they have a terrace but was a bit cool to sit out there. Easy walk to the centre where there is nice restaurants. Would definitely return.

Pleasant check in experience. Parking outside was ok. The room had everything necessary, and a good view. The bed had a comfortable memory foam mattress. Breakfast buffet was well stocked with a lot of choice. Easy 20 minute or less walk to 'La Cite' medieval walled town, which was renovated at the end of the 19th century.

The Ibis budget hotel staff here made our stay soooo pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. This makes a BIG difference to any stay. It is about a 25 minute steady walk into Carcassonne town (depending on your mobility-I could do it in about 20 mins -having very small stride). There is an Aldi + Lidl +McDonalds 5 minute walk should you need. Excellent value for money.

First, the shower was clogged. So the bathroom has been quickly flooded. Then, the AC was noisy. But the worst, one of the towel smells weird. A really peculiar smell that I well know. The towel smells cat's pee!! I have a pretty good nose, I'm sure that's it! What's the heck ? At the end, in the morning, the coffee machine had a bug and I lost several minutes to ask a decent coffee to the receptionist.

The hotel was exactly what we needed for our short stay in Carcassonne. We stayed for two nights with breakfast included, which was very good and practical. The family room was clean, and our 3-year-old loved the bunk bed. The private parking was closed at night, which made us feel secure. The staff were very friendly and spoke Spanish, which was great since I don’t speak much French.
