The stay was nice. The hotel is a budget hotel but had everything we needed. Comfy beds, a good night's sleep, a free car park, friendly staff, a decent breakfast and we could bring our dog. I would definitely stay again. It was around a 15 minute walk into the cité, which is doable (there are also car parks there if you wish to drive) and we also drove into the actual town of Carcassonne for dinner a few times, parking is readily available and not too pricey.

Pros: easy to access by car, right on the road coming into Carcassone. Ample parking, and very friendly and helpful staff. There's a boulangerie nearby ideal for breakfast, and an aldi and lidl if you need anything. If you have a car and aren't looking for luxuries, it's the ideal options. Cons: the rooms are very, very small. If you're not planning on spending any time in them and just want to sleep, they're just fine.
