Staff were nice and helpful. Allowed us to watch the lobby TV to what we wanted. Really good location of the hotel to the old town. Easy parking which was helpful.

Pleasant stay, good breakfast apart of some chipped tableware which shouldn't be in use due food hazards. No great selection of coffees as only basic ones, first time I stayed in the hotel when you cannot have cappuccinos or lattes for breakfast. My room was not cleaned 1 day at all which is fine but again not great, second day cleaned only partially - bed made but bin not emptied and dirty cups as left on table were still there. Very nice and modern shower in the bathroom but dirty edges of the shower. In the room no milk sachets provided (you've got so many English visitors who need milk for teas etc. ) and only paper cups which is not great really (as you have to use at least two at once otherwise you will burn your hands with hot drink). Dinner was ok, nothing special, not much choice for vegetarians. No music in the background so not real atmosphere. Staff very friendly (especially one of I believe managers on the reception, she made me feel very welcome). Unfortunately, I was not asked how was my stay during checkout so you've got review instead of direct feedback. In overall hotel looks nice, on entrance is giving you a very good appearance but than you discovering these things, which can easily be improved for customer satisfaction. Hotel was advertised by Expedia as fabulous which let's face it absolutely wasn't, false advertising. I wouldn't stay there again as for the price this is not 4 star hotel and experience. A.

We checked in early with Paulina? who was very friendly, beaucoup joie de vivre ! I chose the hotel for its location which was very good. Aisha? on checkout was also very friendly. The negatives- we had dinner there on our 2nd evening and the waitress didnt write down my entree so it never came. The sink in our bathroom was leaking on the 2nd day but we sorted it with the poubelle ! There was no handyman available to fix the plumbing when we reported it. If we came back to Carcasonne we probably would stay again.

Stayed 2 nights to do the old town which is a short walk away. Hotel also has a nice pool. Staff were very nice and free parking that close in was a bonus.
