I like coming here because the staff work very hard to make me feel welcome and are very friendly

The person who checked me in was nice and friendly, however no welcome drink or upgrade offered.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. We no longer use physical drink vouchers. They are now automatically added to your app when you book. You can redeem them at the bar by showing the app to bar staff. If for some reason they aren't showing in your app, please let reception know and they will rectify. The room you were given was an upgrade from the room that was booked. We do understand that the hotel is tired and showing its age. We currently have new owners that have ensured us we will be going through refurbishments soon. Room was abit messy, stains on pillows after being cleaned. No smart tv which made it difficult to watch tv and the aircon was dripping water on the floor. Stains on the bath so we couldn’t use it. No mini bar snacks and was difficult to contact room service.
