1. Had informed the hotel on vegan food weeks before arriving. Despite that they had no clue - which they had told to take care. I also had reminded them during checking 2. We were coming for our 5th wedding anniversary, the officer checked us in 1.5 hours late. And told to upgrade us but it will take 1.5 hours, however it took 1.5 hours of waiting. We had arrived at hotel at 2:30. 3. The upgraded room look very old. 1 hours waiting time for buggy, 4. During dinner, we had an almost 1 hours of food waiting despite telling the hotel well before for our vegan food pref. Also had told them in advance to arrange a vegan cake. They said yes they will, in last momveme they sent us a fruit platter for celebrating our wedding anniversary instead of a cake. 5. Breakfast items - during our dinner the staff assured us to make sure our breakfast is well taken care of. But during breakfast we had hardly any options to eat …all the food had dairy or meat. We were running late and the chef took ages to prep a food with ingredients he forgot I told him to. Like I told him to put green chilli and c and x and he ended up making in a completely different style.

Lack of maintenance. Room change necessary due to bad smell in room. Was an adventure to get a new room and reception was more annoyed than helpful. Several hours and calls later we got one. Full of mosquitoes and noisy. We gave up. It should be a pleasure to stay at a hotel. And not a burden to stay another night. Food in restaurant was average. Breakfast super chaotic and difficulties on filling up tableware, glasses, coffee machines not working ( no one feels responsible)..... Really sad. And bad experience.

From the moment I arrived, the experience was first class. The team were warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming, and as a fantastic surprise I was upgraded to a Jacuzzi Suite, which completely elevated the stay. The room was spacious, beautifully designed and immaculately maintained, with a private terrace and jacuzzi that made it feel like a true retreat.

Only complain is mosquitos in the villa. The front wooden doors, when closed, have quite a lot of space for the tiny monsters to pass through.

Absolutely loved our stay at Avista—everything from the location to the food was perfect. Special thanks to Arun and Leo for their assistance and for making sure we had great Indian food. The fire show was amazing, and the room with direct pool access was a highlight. Can’t wait to come back!
