We stayed here for the last three nights of our 2 week honeymoon in Vietnam and Thailand. Because it was our last few nights and it was such a beautiful location and a special occasion, we paid for a premier room, advertised on the website as having "panoramic mountain views". When we arrived in our room we were right next to the pool, so our view was the corner of the pool with some bushes directly behind it on the left and a big palm tree right in front of the room on the right. We called the desk and said we were dissatisfied and they moved us to a beautiful corner room which looks to be the exact one photographed on the website. While they made this right it did put a bad taste in my mouth as I think it is not right that the company charges the same amount for the first room as the second. On our final night we wanted to have a nice dinner and some drinks at the rooftop restaurant and bar, Sizzle. When we called that day to make a reservation, as we were instructed to when we checked in if we wanted to eat at the restaurants, the desk told us that the entire restaurant and bar was closed for a private event. This was very disappointing for us as this rooftop restaurant and bar is the pinnacle amenity at the resort and a big reason why we booked there, and we were looking forward to going there as a final celebration on our honeymoon. We asked why we were not informed about this when we checked in and were told that it was booked just the previous day. If that is the case I don't understand why the company would allow a full restaurant and bar booking with 24 hour notice as they should know this would disrupt the plans of guests who are already staying there. However, I am also suspicious that this was a lie because we saw the event when it was happening and there appeared to be 100+ guests, all of whom were wearing white, and they all were leaving with goody-bags - not at all looking like an event that was planned within a day. The staff offered us free drinks at their other restaurant to make it up to us. I appreciate the effort but we did not use them because we had a long day of travel the next day and were not looking to drink that night. We were also very dissatisfied with the hotel's all-day dining restaurant, Vista. We got lunch there once and felt like the food quality was what one would expect at an all-inclusive resort, not at a restaurant that was not included with our room reservation and is at the higher end in price compared to the restaurants in town. Otherwise, the room we ended up in was beautiful, as was the rest of the resort. The location and views were amazing and the pools with swim-up bars were a lot of fun. However, unfortunately due to the reasons I listed above I would not recommend this hotel. I would like to stress that the staff was lovely and I believe did everything in their power to accommodate us (except maybe lie about the event reservation timeline). I believe that the issues we had came down to the policies and practices of the owning company.

I stayed at the Avista Hideaway, with my son and daughter for 12 nights. Everything was top-notch, couldn’t fault a thing. The staff were amazing each and every one of them. Unfortunately, I only remember a few names Krot, Jip & King.

They charged me 10k bahts deposit when I checked in (I had already paid for the hotel room). During the stay, I consumed only 1k out of those 10k. When I checked out they told me they would refund me this significant amount of money. 9k bahts (around 300 USD). It's been 20 days and I'm still down 300 dollars on my account. They scammed me and when I reached out to them, they just ignored me and didn't reply.
