Loved the service—from handling payment issues, accommodating sudden airport pickup rescheduling, to arranging everything throughout our stay at the hotel. The toilet takes a while to refill though.

Nice hotel , located at the heart of Karon beach. It is abit far but the beach is really nice. The staffs are very welcoming. It could have been better if the sound proofing for the room is done better. Can hear people talking along the corridor. Bed mattress are kind of abit soft for a 5 star hotel like this. Other than that it is a good stay. Hotel should also consider providing buggy to guest to the beach. But is not a far walk.

The hotel is set on top of a small hill, with about a five-minute walk down to the beach. You do need to cross a road to access it, which is worth noting. The room was comfortable and came with a balcony and a nice sea view, although overall it was nothing particularly special. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good selection of pillows, which was a nice touch. However, the air conditioning system was quite loud at night—even on the lowest setting—and you really need to keep it on as the room gets too warm otherwise. Around the pool area, there seems to be a shortage of sunbeds, so you have to get up early to secure one. Even then, if you leave your spot unattended for more than 30 minutes, staff may remove your towel. Service by the pool was also quite slow, with empty cups and glasses often left sitting for hours before being cleared. One of the biggest downsides was the pricing within the hotel. Everything is extremely expensive compared to outside. For example, a coconut that costs around 40 BAHT elsewhere is priced at about 300 BAHT in the hotel, plus service charge and tax—bringing it close to 400 BAHT. In my opinion, this felt excessive and disappointing. The hotel also requires an upfront deposit of 10,000 BAHT. On a positive note, at the bottom of the hill there are around five restaurants, and we ended up eating at these almost every day for lunch and dinner. The food was fresh, including fish and lobster, and very reasonably priced compared to the hotel. Phuket itself offers a huge variety of restaurants, and we didn’t experience any issues with food quality anywhere we ate outside the hotel. Overall, the hotel was okay, but it didn’t go above and beyond at any point during our stay. There was also a lack of daytime activities, which made it feel a bit quiet and uneventful. Personally, I probably wouldn’t stay here again. Next time, I would look for somewhere with more going on, direct beach access, better facilities, and a larger pool area.
