The rooms don't have a stand to put your suitcase on. Usually, hotel rooms have those X-shaped STANDS you can OPEN. They have black stripes on them, and you can put your suitcase on it, so you don't have to bend all the way to the floor to get things. Or to simply avoid putting the suitcase on the floor. Other than that, the rooms were fine, so was the swimming pool. And the TV was easy to use. I was at a hotel in Bangkok where the TV wouldn't turn on, even though I called the staff and they turned it on for 5 minutes. It went off again after they left. You wouldn't imagine that small things like TV can make a hotel room more inviting when it actually works. I like to see LOCAL country channels on TV when I visit a new country, it helps you learn more of the culture. I also like your balcony with metal railings for hanging wet clothes on the wall. Many hotels don't provide for that on balconies. You just hang your damp things in the bathroom and it takes a long time to dry. The staff were VERY helpful in getting me a Grab Transportation to the Sunday Night market using their own personal account, so it was CHEAPER to get there, compared to taxi. The breakfast was okay. But I like the street close to the hotel; many things to see and do, and places to eat. And I was pleasantly surprised to see that the beer at the hotel was NOT overpriced; in fact, it was CHEAPER than the restaurant outside! 😮
