Ibis brand as usual amazing! Worth to stay, in budget price you get 4 star facilities. Pool and restaurants are just perfect. Prime location, close to the main Kata road and the beach, just few minutes walk. Transport is easily available for all must visit places in Phuket. Check in was smooth, we got high floor with mountain view. Breakfast is also delicious, even in a Covid time they keep high class breakfast. Can mention Khun Nuch whose was good and well competent. Highlights that hotel is dog friendly! Recommend to everyone and we will visit again soon!

I booked this hotel because I was canceled by another small hotel so I would say the stability of the ibis is so good, we can rely on your hotel. The cleanliness was good. I liked the size and depth of the pool, the water also warm and clean. The size of the room was fine, also the facilities, even the room was not that big but it still had a balcony which we can use for hanging our clothes until dry. Breakfast and the management of order due to the COVID-19 situation were very nice, you can order ahead instead of buffet meal so this can reduce the risk of exposing others. We can borrow the towel for the pool and also for the beach, just notify the staff at the bar. So, I would say this was a good choice for your stay. :)

Breakfast not brilliant as one day it was cold half cooked fried eggs or cold boiled eggs. Other hot choices were mainly Asian food but most guests were European. Most people did not use tongs to pick up bread, croissants or slices of cake. Bar & food prices were not competitive. As with all Ibis, the rooms are small & not really suitable for people with 2 suitcases & 2 travel bags, probably better for business people taking a 1 or 2 night stay. We always took off our shoes/sandals just inside the door but always ended up with dirty socks or bare feet. Don't they mop or vacuum the floors? We had a room overlooking the pool but it also overlooks a building site. There is a free shuttle to the beach but,if you miss it, the shortest way is to exit the hotel, cross the main road & turn right. Follow the road for about 400m & you will come to a path alongside what smells like an open sewer, take this & it will lead you to a nice beach. Very good staff in the hotel, but place was not our cup of tea.

It is true that all rooms in ibis hotels are the same standard size, but we also have Family room type which is bigger and has build in bunk bed. May be next time you could try another room. Relaxing stay albeit a little noisy due thin walls. Common problem in most ibis hotels. Staff attentiveness and very clean rooms outweighed the noise.

The hotel do not have bell boys to fetch your luggage during the check out and check in. In addition they are very rigid in accepting security money by means of credit card guarantee or in Thai Bhat but i was offered freedom of depositing money in INR during our saty in Mercure Makassan and IBIS Krabi. The packed breakfast requested by us was also in very small quantity. Only excellent service was the travel desk managed by Mr. dean who used to offer competitive price for sight seeing and airport transfer.

The reception staff and especially the reception manager have the most disgusting customer service I have ever received. I have worked for Qantas airways for over 8 years and I’ll ensure all colleagues/friends and family/reviews will understand how disrespectful and rude this team is. I was travelling with my 4 month child for the first time and they made the experience absolute hell for me and my family. Demanded to speak to the front desk managers and she just laughed and smiled at us while explaining our hurt and disappointment (I was crying due to the stress and tiredness from travelling for 30 hours) to be greeted by May and the reception manager who had ZERO compassion or empathy. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE WE HAVE EVER RECEIVED. I’ll be contacting all corporate contacts to have ibis reviewed as a Partner due to their due to their inconsideration. We are industry staff, so we’d hate to see how they treat full paying customers. We ended up booking chanalai (we stayed with them last year) and we now wonder why we didn’t book them in the first place. Maybe send the ibis manager to a chanalai resort so she can understand how to treat a customer.!! We have been treated like king and queen there and will continue to stay with them and back them 100% as they ate better staff and better facilities all round. Will never book ibis again!!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were absolutely wonderful. We both had a bout of gastro, and they rang the Dr to come to us, and showed genuine concern for our welfare, which we appreciated very much. Re premises, we felt more fans in number, AND working in the foyer would provide more comfort for guests. Lift foyers to rooms could use some plants/greenery or artwork, as very austere and unattractive. The pool area is terrific, and the supply if big towels is convenient.

I stayed here on 4-7 Sept. for vacation only. Hotel room is very clean, beds are comfortable with a small balcony, shower and bathroom are rather small but it is acceptable. As compared with the price of other hotel, it is a valuable hotel for stay. Many Russian guests are staying at this hotel. Due to the hotel rooms are designed in L- shape with long corridors, so some noise are generated with door closed impact.Hotel location is in centre, free-shuttle car are provided for guests to Kata beach by hotel, but you can also walk to Kata beach along a small path which is only 10-13 minutes to be there. You can also walk to the Karon beach within 30 minutes, so it is very convenience to anywhere.There is a swimming pool here, size is not large but just OK,I enjoyed sometime at the pool also.Reception staff are fine and very pretty young girls with helpful services to guests.The weak point is for 2 small beds room which are facing some broken buildings outside hotel balcony window causing me an unhappy experience on this trip. So I recommend the guests to choose one king-size bed if it is possible.
