Could not check in at allocated time as room was not ready, once checked in and got in to room it was in a rushed state of clean so still a bit dirty, when asked about allocating a time for daily cleans we said 11am however the next day the room wasn’t cleaned until 4pm, There was construction going on across the road until 9-10pm with excavators and trucks was very noisy, to have paid for a better style room to be given that was off putting, no one should be in those rooms at full price period. Beds where extremely hard, I have been to many hotels and know beds are usually more firm for longevity and that’s fine but these where like concrete, the shower was not getting warm between 6-8pm assuming it’s peak time for hot water but again for a 5 star hotel that’s well below average. Breakfast food selection was ok, only issue was the restaurant wasn’t well cleaned and there were pigeons and flys everywhere.

While I have stayed at other Novotel and Accor properties before and had much better experiences, I was thoroughly disappointed by my stay here. This hotel was one of the more expensive options for my trip, so I expected a certain level of quality that simply wasn't met. The room looked old and is in need of renovation. We had a leaking shower door that continued to leak even after staff supposedly "fixed it." Housekeeping was also lacking; our room wasn't cleaned properly. For example, a dirty coffee spoon left on the table was ignored and left in the exact same place rather than being cleaned or replaced throughout our whole stay, and our bath towels were not restocked. Lastly, while the breakfast spread was large, the quality was lacking in almost everything, and there were flies and pigeons flying around the dining area. For the price paid, it was a very disappointing experience
