The service was outstanding. The concierge was instrumental in retrieving our mobile phone left in a taxi. His efforts were greatly appreciated. Our experience in the Executive Lounge was also excellent, particularly the service provided by Julius.

Overall I thought the hotel was very good. I appreciated the generous size of the room and bathroom, the gym and amazing pool. The surrounding garden area is very well designed and maintained. I want to give a big standout thank you to Chef Wong and Edmond in Racines Restaurant. I have coeliac disease and need to avoid gluten. Without prompting, Chef Wong came and found me at breakfast one morning and explained he would cook a local dish for me every day, gluten free. He did and they were all amazing. I appreciated the way he came out every morning to explain what they would be cooking. To me, this is service above and beyond - quite exceptional - and made me feel very well looked after. These two gentlemen are a huge asset to the hotel, and it would be appreciated if they can be recognised for that. And overall I'd add that breakfast was excellent generally - the buffet selection was great and there was a decent gluten-free bread/pastries section. Perhaps this could be expanded to include croissants in the future? Where does the hotel need to improve? That lies with the reception staff in my view. Check-in was efficient but very rushed. The impression I had was that I was just another guest. And far more importantly on checkout, the gentleman dealing with me never asked if I'd enjoyed my stay, or if I had any comments. I was handed a print out of the bill and a "hope to see you again", and that was it. Not good enough having spent eight nights at my own expense. This not withstanding, I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

When I checked in there was a massive queue with only one person at the counter. During my stay I saw this multiple times as I was going in and out. I wanted an item to be pressed and I was told if I give it at 7 pm I would get it next day at 7 pm. It took me a lot of effort to order food as the employee manning the room service couldn’t take the order. So I had to ultimately ask for the duty manager to help me. Lastly the lounge is really terrible. Breakfast there is a massive waste of time. A simple order of eggs and muesli took 30 minutes to arrive. Drinking water fountain in the room is very very slow to fill up bottles. The room service should fill up at least two bottles when they come to clean.

It is easy to access from metro station, and you can find many shops and restaurant nearby and it is convenient to stay and go around. Yet, inside the hotel, you can stay away from liveliness outside.
