We had a fantastic stay at Sofitel Singapore - even my mother who is extremely picky about accommodation and service in general was very happy with the stay. Special shout out to Danny in Club Milliseme who is incredibly attentive and an awesome individual. The only hiccup was that one of the nights the hot water in the shower cut out (felt similar to when you take a shower just as the hot water in the tank runs out).

Location was excellent - directly above the Metro station, many options for food surrounding the hotel and underneath at metro station, walking distance to Hawker centres and China town. Rooms were clean and a good size with comfortable beds. The buffet breakfast was a bit expensive and food quality not up to standard for this type of hotel. The tv service was very poor with no streaming smart tv and no ability to stream from iphone only android. Very minimal stations on offer for terrestrial tv too. Service was excellent at the bar and restaurant/cafe, couldn't fault the staff. Overall an above average experience.

I had a lovely stay starting with exceptional service at checkin, and upgrade to a really lovely room, quiet and private on the 19th floor. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with all conveniences, spacious bathrooms, a bath, a shower, good cupboard space and a comfortable and well air conditioned bed. I enjoyed cocktails and a charcuterie platter in the lobby bar 1864 where the service was excellent and I also enjoyed breakfast from a wide variety of options every morning, all with a personalised coffee order.
