Pleasant, helpful staff. Good breakfast choice. Tasty food one evening in the restaurant; hadn't realised that dinner was available before then. Pleasant room, comfortable bed. In walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

Warm room, impossible to sleep. It was very warm conditions, even with heating system at min or even turned off. The system was noisy, and no option to open a window

Positives: Good location in historic city center Parking garage next door Triple room had a proper king size bed and a comfortable single rollaway Room safe Needs improvement Air conditioning completely turned off (not disclosed at time of reservation), room was very warm all night, 2nd floor room too noisy to open windows Bathroom sink completely not draining - maintenance issue should have been addressed before arrival Dangerous tub - slippery with high wall For three guests, only two towels provided Check in host did not understand basic English Hotel overall is fairly worn and tired, and not good value

Baking hot in mid September due to building management problems

Despite it being only about 23 degrees outside during the day of our arrival, inside the room was unbearably hot, perhaps 29 degrees when we entered around 12:20 pm. I spoke with the front desk about this, and was told they were aware of the problem with the air conditioning of the building and were working to fix it. I was further told that "other solutions" would be available if the air conditioning was not fixed by the evening. Upon returning to the hotel after dark, it was still too hot in the room. The room temperature controller did nothing to help, and the windows of the building cannot open because of "safety" (a joke, this is not a 50 story building). We were then told that the hotel was full, no other room was available, and if we could not accept the hot room we would simply have to leave (with a refund of course) and find another hotel. Finally, we were told that the building air conditioning system was turned off by the other tenant of the building, an office. How can a hotel charging nearly 200 EUR have no operable windows and no working air conditioning because they've failed to negotiate or configure the system ahead of time with the other building tenants?
