Overall it was a good experience to be in Novotel again. This is like my second home as it was the 4th time staying in Nancy. I like its location and surroundings and it is close to town centre. They changed our room after observing that the first one was not properly made and was smelling, there was dust on the coffee machine. Thank u to Eloise who quickly understood our concern. The hotel has been updated but unfortunately the grey colour that dominates it is awful, it looks dark and I wish u had chosen bright colours. It is like a prison. This is my preference maybe others may like it but for me clear colours are the best.

We had a goodnight stay the checkin went fine but at the end the receptionist charged me for another room. I already had told him I had paid my stay already. But he told me I had not. I ended up paying a room for someone else for 142 euros! Its three days later and they still have not given me my money back or an update in that matter. Also to give my money back I had to give private information like my bank statement etc. I will not be staying at this place anymore and will file a complaint as well

Large room with one chair for 2 people. Kitchenette with paper cups , no cutlery or crockery. A kettle but no coffee and less than half a toilet roll. Disappointed overall.

We booked a one night stay to escape the heatwave with our young children. Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room didn't work, and when we pointed this out to the reception clerk, he said there was only a room for two available in the hotel, so we had to sleep in our warm room. The next day we again informed reception at checkout that our stay was extremely disappointing, but we heard nothing back from this hotel. I understand that malfunctions can happen, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Me and my wife liked the hotel, liked the Executive suite and enjoyed our breakfast. But the airconditioning did not cool the room, even on the coldest setting. The room temp was 26C+ and we slept really bad because of this. Must be a great hotel when the outside temp is below 25, but we were not satisfied.

We were staying on a room with my wife and 2 small kids. The location is not the best location. Quite dark around, and 10mn walk to go the city center. The room was okish. Bathroom has swing door that were "broken" and keep opening widely. Previous people from the room leaked some water next to a power plug, so got a power failure during my stay. Breakfast was good.

We particularly like the lighting in Novotel Suites. Most hotels today have very dim lights making it difficult to see and to read but Novotel has a very good level of lighting. The rooms are bigger than most also.
