Very little to complain about this hotel. Pros - Excellent location close to Anvers and Pigalle Metro so easy to get around - Restaurants close by - Room was small but very comfortable with big TV - would be quite small for more than 1 person but it was fine for me as solo traveller. - Excellent bathroom - recently refurbished - my room was at the back of he hotel so very quiet. I can imagine the front rooms would be noisier. - WiFi worked well - Room well maintained by housekeeping - breakfast was adequate - good choice but quite expensive. Cons - Not much - was unable to watch the football as Canal Plus was not available on the TV - was difficult to do any work because the room had no desk/chair Big sideboard but would be better as a desk.

Great location. Staff were good but not great, they did help but they also do their own things. Without being discriminatory, the only professional staff was the white lady which I don't know the name. We also got a disabled room without our knowledge which isn't ideal. The room itself felt pretty empty, not even water except for some small chocolate. Same goes for the bathroom being empty but on top of that half of the towels were dirty and stained. An overall disappointment.

We stayed at Mecure Paris Montmartre for the final 4 nights of our 10 night trip to Paris over New Years. We had a decent stay but this hotel bills itself as a 4-star tourist hotel when I think it is more like a 3-star. Additionally, I wish I would have listened to the other reviews strongly recommending booking a suite, because the rooms were the smallest we've seen in Europe. Everyone we encountered was super nice and thoughtful throughout our stay, even decorating our room (we were celebrating our honeymoon.) However, I can't emphasize enough how small our room was. Like I mentioned, we had come from another hotel in Paris (and we live in NYC) so we are familiar and comfortable in small rooms, but this was not reasonable for more than one person. No space for even a cramped luggage rack and an awkwardly placed "closet" (open space in wall next to bed) made it impossible to unpack or open more than one luggage at a time. Back to the initial note about the rating being off - in general, everything here felt super cheap. Towels were paper thin, no shampoo or conditioner were offered (just a general body wash), and obviously no slippers/robes. Water was provided the first night but not replenished. Location is decent (short walk away from some good spots), but it was our first time staying in this area and the busy road was quite loud and there are several tourist shops close by. While I'm not quick to recommend this hotel, it's important to note we were staying there over the holiday, so prices were inflated. If I was looking for a hotel while traveling alone and the prices were much lower, this hotel is clean and decently located.
