incompetent management

On a Holiday (Nov. 1st) there was only 1 employee working. She had to do all (reception desk, breakfast ( a full room of clients, and no time to bake bread), serving clients with missing towels, listening to clients that were not happy about rooms that have not been cleaned, room doors that were locked after 10 am, etc...). This women finally had a mental breakdown! The manager was unavailable, ... clients had to take over. It was chaos! Notably, the day before, there were 3 people working at the reception desk. And nobody was serving breakfast. Also then, the trays were empty (no fruit salad, no bread, no cheese, no spoons,...). The 3 employees were sitting, doing nothing... with a long face. In short, this hotel is run by an incompetent manager.

I'm not sure how many times I've stayed at this location but it's perfect for short breaks to the coast. Right near all the shops to get some decent things before heading back to England too. What's more it's a 5 minute drive (or taxi) from De Zwerver where loads of great bands play. Bus or a short walk to the coastal tram and you can get to Oostende, Nieuwpoort or wherever very easily.
